Being rescued by a hot lumberjack after catching his fiancé cheating was the only good thing to happen to Beau for quite some time. Getting stuck in the man’s cabin for the weekend? There were worse ways to pass a few days. Falling for him when the guy made it clear he didn’t do relationships? Well, Beau just wouldn’t do that - probably.
This was a sweet novella to start the series. I liked the way that everything and everyone were described although as it was only a novella nothing was done in enough detail to give the HEA at the end. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
