Tiller is the first openly gay professional football player and he can’t afford to make any mistakes, on or off the field. The absolute biggest mistake he could make right now would be to fall for Mikey Vining, his best friend, employee and, more importantly, Coach’s baby boy. Mikey spent years learning to keep his eyes, and hands, to himself. But resisting the temptation becomes nearly impossible when Tiller Raine and him end up together in a small cabin in a remote Colorado town. Suddenly, there’s not much to do but look at each other. And talk. And hopefully, hopefully touch. But what happens when their stay in Aster Valley is over and it’s time to return to the real world? Will Coach blow the whistle on their relationship? Or will Tiller admit there might actually be something he loves more than football after all?
I loved this story with the football player and the coach's son who was a great cook and nutritionist. Their connection was intense and perfect for the battles they may face in the future. I loved Mikey who felt very real from the writing. Easy to read, feel and understand and full of emotions. This was an MM story with mature content.
