Wow - this was one hell of an opener for this series which has so much promise. I loved the struggle between duty to the assassination contract or listening to what her heart was telling her. At many points in the story it wasn't possible to predict which was she was going to choose and so it was nice to read a book with a surprise in the ending as so many books these days feature obvious conclusions. Well written, it was great to feel the emotions involved in the story. Now I just need to be able to find out what is going to happen next!
