After messing up relationships at an early age Brett Connor is all for partying hard and making sure he never falls in love with any of his many conquests. Mila DeMarco is a hard-working chef who has to come back to her childhood home as her mother is sick. She also has a past with Brett. Can Brett start to believe in love again as he falls for Mila or will he mess it up in order to stay in his wild ways?
This was a lovely story which will definitely pull at your heartstrings and make you believe that Brett really is a human and not a man-whore when he finds something out about the past that will rock his world completely. I can't say more else I will ruin the story, just know that it is easy to become addicted to this story as you go on the same journey as Brett to fill in gaps in his knowledge and find out what is truly important in life to him. Definitely emotional in places and will leave you with a warm glow at the end. Contains some explicit sexual content. Well written and very easy to read and feel the thoughts and emotions of the characters.
