If it wasn't for the gorgeous guy who rescued her then and now seems to be protecting her from the shadows ever since too. The question is why and what does he want? Dragon Guardsman Lance knew from the moment he met her that Samantha was the one the universe had made for him, but he knew it was not the right time to claim her. Instead, he has protected her from afar waiting for that right time. He may have lived for 112 years but fate will not be denied - he has to find a way to claim his mate!!!
This was a sweet story of how the mates found each other, then grew to know each other and finally become a single unit. Well written it was an enjoyable read and certainly a good continuation from the previous book in the series as it continued a strand of the story that started in that one. Well written, easy to understand and very enjoyable.
