Review: Laken's longing: Divergent Omegaverse by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Laken's longing: Divergent Omegaverse

Laken's longing: Divergent Omegaverse by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Laken wants a quiet, work‑focused life, but everything changes when Isley, a mischievous sugar‑glider shifter, claims him. A mysterious delivery drags Laken’s forgotten past into the present, forcing him to face old dangers and trust the people around him. As secrets come to light — including his adoptive parents knowing more than he expected — Laken finally lets himself reach for what he wants: Isley. Now he just has to learn how to date… with a little help from his brother.

I loved this story, especially the dynamic between Laken, so closed off and burdened by his past, and Isley, his mischievous sugar‑glider shifter PA who refuses to wait for the humans to catch up. Their connection is undeniable from the start, and the mix of danger from Laken’s resurfacing past and the sweetness of their growing bond made the whole book feel rich with emotion and feeling. Isley’s sugar glider absolutely stole my heart — cheeky, naughty, and determined to claim Laken no matter how complicated the situation was. The drama, the affection, and the slow opening of Laken’s guarded world all worked beautifully. I adore this series, and while Laken and Isley do get their happy ending together, the mischievous sugar glider ensures the book finishes on a cliffhanger… one that definitely left me eager for more. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse.

Review: Kari's Kismet by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Kari's Kismet

Kari's Kismet by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kari has always kept his distance from Bowie, even though the shy omega pulls at every protective instinct he has. When work forces them together, Kari’s feelings deepen — and when Bowie’s boyfriend abandons him, Kari chooses to stay and care for him. That choice changes everything. Kari soon discovers Bowie is naturally a Little, though Bowie doesn’t understand what that means for them. As they try to build a relationship, Bowie’s insecurities and his ex threaten their progress, and Kari hides their bond at Bowie’s request. But Kari is determined: a devoted Daddy will do the work needed to protect the person he loves.

Kari and Bowie were absolutely made for each other, even if it took Bowie time — and a lot of healing — to believe he deserved someone as steady and protective as Kari. After the nightmare of his ex, Bowie’s confidence was fragile, and watching him slowly trust himself again was one of the most emotional parts of the story. Kari’s quiet devotion, his instinct to care, and the way he never once wavered made their connection feel inevitable. And the wider world around them — the PAs, the alpha brothers, and their families — stepped in with warmth, humour, and unwavering support, giving both men the safety net they needed. A story full of big feelings, gentle care, and a couple who fit together perfectly once Bowie finally lets himself fall. This was an MM story with mature content that was set in the omegaverse with a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Rue's Rapture by J.P. Sayle 3 of 5 stars

Rue's Rapture

Rue's Rapture by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rue, still shaped by a painful past despite being adopted into the Starling family, struggles to believe he deserves love. A personal crisis pushes him to confront that fear, and a night with his PA, Monty, shows him that one partner can’t meet all his needs. In Bayfield, he meets Kendrick, who fits just as naturally into his life. A week together isn’t enough, until Kendrick proposes an unexpected arrangement. As Rue grows closer to both men, his emotional walls begin to crack, forcing him to face his past and decide whether he can accept that he’s worthy of their love.

Rue’s past trauma still shapes every part of his life, and counselling alone was never enough to help him believe he deserved love. What finally allows him to move forward is the genuine happiness he finds with Kendrick and Monty — the first time he truly feels seen, wanted, and safe. Their steady support becomes the turning point he’s needed for years. I also enjoyed that this story spent time with the recovering omegas from the abusive factory. Those scenes added depth and heart, showing healing on a wider scale. There were emotions and feelings throughout, though I would have loved for them to be an even bigger part of the story. This was an MMM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse.

Review: Silas's Sweetheart by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Silas's Sweetheart

Silas's Sweetheart by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Silas Starling is called home and forced to face the feelings he once ran from. A visit to Hidden Desires leads him to Ziggy, a snake‑shifter omega he’s instantly drawn to — and the shock doubles when Ziggy turns out to be his new PA. They try to keep things professional until Ziggy suggests a private, no‑strings arrangement that quickly becomes complicated. A revelation from Silas’s brother shakes his already fragile emotions, and after making a painful mistake, Silas gathers the whole family and PA crew at his ranch. With just one week, he hopes to prove to Ziggy how he truly feels.

The undeniable pull between Silas and Ziggy runs through the whole story, even while Silas does everything he can to protect his heart. I loved how his Popi and Dad stepped in to help untangle the mess between them — their involvement added warmth, humour, and a real sense of family support. The reversal of their traditional roles was another highlight, giving their dynamic a fresh and engaging twist. It was easy to read and understand, though I’ll admit there were moments when I wanted to bang their heads together because they were both so stubborn. Still, the emotions came through clearly, making their journey satisfying to follow. This was an MM story with mature content and was set in the omegaverse.

Review: Booker's Bliss by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Booker's Bliss

Booker's Bliss by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Booker Starling, a gruff alpha bear with a guarded heart, has always kept his distance from Frey Abbott — until one pivotal moment forces him to see the flirty fox PA in a completely new way. With old rules no longer binding him and Frey’s true vulnerability revealed, resisting becomes impossible. Booker finally decides to take a chance on love, even if it means breaking every rule he set for himself.

The undeniable attraction between Booker and Frey was one of the strongest parts of this story — both of them trying so hard to deny what everyone else could clearly see. I loved how soft‑hearted Booker was beneath all that gruffness, always determined to protect those more vulnerable, and how that protective streak showed long before either of them admitted their feelings. Frey’s persistence, paired with Booker’s instinctive care, made their slow shift toward each other feel inevitable. And once they made their life‑changing decision, the support from both the Starling family and the PA family added so much warmth and humour. There were plenty of emotions and feelings throughout, making their journey easy to connect with. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with an associated MPREG.

Review: Taylin's Temptation by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Taylin's Temptation

Taylin's Temptation by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Taylin, cast out for being Divergent but saved by one brave act and a loving adoptive family, returns home just as his parents retire — putting him directly in the path of Hollis, the man he’s secretly wanted for years. Hollis has never shown interest, but with shifting roles and new closeness, the question becomes whether he’ll finally see what’s been in front of him all along.

This was a lovely story built around a connection that everyone around them could see long before the two men were ready to admit it themselves. Watching them slowly accept what was so obvious to everyone else made their journey feel warm and satisfying. I especially adored the Starling brothers, their parents, and the wonderfully chaotic dynamic between all the PAs — every interaction was a source of amusement and added so much charm to the story. Their collective refusal to tolerate abuse or the misuse of power gave the book a strong moral backbone that made the world feel safe and supportive. Overall, it was an easy story to read, feel, and understand, with a heartfelt romance at its centre and a cast of characters who made the experience even richer. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Blood of the Damned - Thorn by JP Sayle 3 of 5 stars

Blood of the Damned - Thorn: Fated Vampire Mpreg

Blood of the Damned - Thorn: Fated Vampire Mpreg by JP Sayle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a story about Ledger Rain, a sommelier, who takes a job at the Vaughan Winery hoping to escape his past. He finds an unexpected future when he discovers his boss, Thorn Vaughan, is not only a vampire, but his fated mate. Their life together is a whirlwind of new discoveries. They get married and start a family, but their journey is complicated because Ledger is male, and male dhampirs (vampire mates) were thought to be nonexistent. The central conflict arises when Ledger gets pregnant, forcing them to figure out how baby vampires are born—a process that has been lost to history.

I loved this story with the two men who met and quickly realised that they were fated mates. The story was a good introduction to the brothers who ran Vaughan Winery and their personalities. I did find the focus on Ledger's pregnancy hormones and behaviour was too much. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Ollie by J.P. Sayle 3 of 5 stars

Ollie

Ollie by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

An invitation to an all-expenses paid cruise of a lifetime from his best friend, Leeson, who is getting married, is really exciting for Ollie. Or it would be if the man he was sharing a cabin with wasn't the same man he was secretly dating online. The one man who he wants to get naked with—but doesn't because of how he feels about how he looks. Beckett finds a boy who is the prefect Christmas gift: Ollie. A visit home to Sweet Haven and Beckett discovers who Ollie is, just not what he looks like. He honours Ollie's decision to keep his appearance from Beckett over the following months as their relationship deepens. That is until Garrett asks him to be a groomsman at his wedding. Kismet, or the universe, his friend unknowingly gives Beckett the perfect opportunity to prove Ollie is the boy for him. Now all he has to do is convince Ollie that the size of someone's waistline isn't what's important, but how generous their heart is.

This was a sweet story of how little Ollie and Daddy Beckett found each other. It was sad how Ollie felt about his own body and how others had reinforced it but Beckett was perfect in the way that he treated it. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

A Sucker for Christmas

Octopus shifter Fitch found his soulmate Sean when they were both four years old but over the years they have been separated by two things - a couple of oceans and their age. Mandy is Shaun's sister and is determined to help the two men get together and discover that true love comes with suckers.

This was a sweet story of two men who had known and loved each other for years but never told each other. I loved the way Fitch's tentacles kept teasing Sean through their lives it was just that he hadn't realised the connection. I loved that they were best friends before becoming closer to each other. Review: A Little Christmas! Matty's Secret: MM Daddy/Little Romance by JP Sayle 4 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas! Matty's Secret: MM Daddy/Little Romance

A Little Christmas! Matty's Secret: MM Daddy/Little Romance by JP Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Daddy Weston Forrester left the army and found a job after discharge but was still alone as finding the right boy for him was not so easy. Then he met Little Matty in a secret garden in Chicago and keeping it light he took it steady just meeting him there each week until they could both trust each other. Matty Bevan has been a magnet for cheaters in the past and so it pleased at the slow friendship from the man who seems to be too good to be true but gives off serious Daddy vibes. When Matty asks his best friend for help things change in a way he didn't expect. A cute little fox is about to get his Christmas wish even if it is more than he bargained for.

This was a sweet story about a Daddy meeting his forever Little and how their relationship deepened into something permanent. I loved the ways that Weston was fierce in protecting Matty and how very necessary that was. Their shopping trip was a delight and the playroom made me very envious. I loved the way that they were able to have big and little time which made their relationship very rounded. Easy to read, see and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic with binkies and lots of toys.

Review: Agrippa My Heart by J.P. Sayle 3 of 5 stars

Agrippa My Heart (Destination Daddies Season Two)

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Patrick Holmes’s experience using the Cuffd app is not good after his last Daddy was abusive so he is very wary of putting himself back out there. Then he gets a message from a Daddy via the app that changes his mind. Akker is everything Patrick has dreamed of but he lives in Italy and Patrick lives in London. Cuffd appears to have the answer when they offer up the chance to win a paid holiday to the hotel Akker works in. Against all the odds, Patrick wins the holiday, but will Akker be disappointed when they finally meet face-to-face? Akker Carlson’s life is in a state of flux. First, his father wants to retire and so wants him to take over the family hotel business and second, he meets a boy who has captured his full attention. Akker uses his connections to Cuffd to devise a plan to get Patrick to Italy. Will his finagling work against him when a blast from Patrick’s past turns up on the same holiday?

This was a sweet read with the sensitive boy Patrick who has been abused physically and mentally by a so-called Daddy in the past, is being bullied by his manager at work and is in dire need of a real Daddy to love and protect him. Akker was just perfect caring for him in the only way he knew even before the holiday to Italy by feeding him and making sure he rested as much as he could. I loved their relationship and the way it developed over time. I did find the easy development of their relationship into a full-time arrangement a little fast and with inadequate discussion. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Hanging With Daddy by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Hanging With Daddy

Hanging With Daddy by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Austin owns a thriving security business and when one of his men cannot make an event he steps in and is charmed by the tiny man dressed as a koala doing an aerial display on a pole. Gaines loves all thing koala and incorporated pet play into select events where he performs. At one event he sees his perfect Daddy and with some of his encouragement from best friend Matty, he takes the initiative for the first time in his life as Austin is everything that he ever wished for. When the little koala asks him to be his handler for Pride Fest it is an easy yes, but the last thing he expects is for Gaines to use him as a pole.

I enjoyed this story with the intervention from friends to make sure that they met, their instant attraction and the way that they were able to express their needs and communicate with each other. Gaines was so talented as a performer that it was really clever to climb his Daddy in order to include him in his performance. It was great to see him find a solution to help him to stop working so much so that he could be well and spend time with his Daddy. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship with pet play.

Headshot (Model Love, #3)

Headshot by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Model Jack Storey learned early on that life was hard from the people who should have treated him better but when he was at rock bottom Kit found him, took him to Garfield House and he put his life back together and learned that it was not wrong to express himself. One thing in his life is elusive for him as his heart has already been given to Kit, he just hasn't realised it yet. When Garfield House is put under threat Jack asks his modelling friends and contacts for help and Kit will then see just how hard Jack will fight to save those he loves. Can they all get the HEA they deserve?

I loved this story with the kind Kit who does everything he can to save the abandoned LGBTQIA+ youth and give them a family and future. I loved that Kit saved Jack and then they became firm friends who wanted more although it took them time to see that. Kit might have been older but Jack was definitely the bold one who was quite happy to push things along in order to get his man. Easy to read, feel and understand this story definitely pulled at the heartstrings. Contains mature MM content.

A Brat for Kinkmas (Naughty or Nice Season Three)

A Brat for Kinkmas by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Beau Lester has friends, family and a job that he loves but wants more - a Daddy of his own. When he meets Zivkovic he believes that he has met the man of his dreams until he disappears and breaks his heart. When Ziv reappears will Beau let him near him again? Then he meets Beau and his heart sustains a serious attack even though he doesn't know the rules of the game. Ziv needs to work it out quickly otherwise he will lose Beau.

I loved this story with the strong and tough Maffia man and the confident young man who likes to wear heels. It was great to see Ziv completely blindsided because he had no idea how a relationship worked or how to react to something that Beau did. There were times when I felt for Beau so was just brokenhearted at being suddenly alone and then times when I felt sympathy for Ziv who had no idea what he was doing. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contains a BSDM-like DDLB relationship including edging, spanking and flogging.

Paulo followed his heart to London only to discover that the subject of his feelings was unaware of him and was now happy with someone else. When Paulo arrives he is everything that Kaden needs the only problem is, Paulo is in love with someone else. Can Kaden change his mind and the object of his affections to himself?

I enjoyed this story with the devastated Paulo who realised that there are different forms of love and that he needs to learn the difference between them. I loved that they both had some issues and that they were able to work through everything (even doubts) together. I loved that they were solid together and that Kaden realised that he had found his perfect man. Easy to read, feel and understand. Dominated but not Subdued (La Trattoria Di Amore, #2)

Dominated but not Subdued by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Adam Grainger comes from an affluent family but has never mentioned it or used it as he knows it does not guarantee love or affection. Over the years he has developed a shield of witty comebacks to hide his self-doubts which he needs when he finds himself sparing with his new boss Carl. Their attraction is instant and inconvenient when he needs to prove he’s not just a pretty face. Renowned chef Carl works hard in the kitchen and plays hard in the BSDM club he co-owns. Then sassy Adam who is twenty years his junior and is the perfect submissive changes his outlook and so they keep their relationship secret to avoid the "no staff fraternisation policy". Adam needs to be dominated but not subdued and so they need to find a middle ground form of Daddy.

I enjoyed this story of the deeply protective relationship between them that does not perfectly fit into a standard BSDM-like relationship. I lived the way that Carl stood up for Adam against the people who were never satisfied with Adam no matter what he did (and yet should have been the most supportive). Their interaction could be fiery and a little explosive at times, but there was absolutely no reason to doubt the strength of their love for each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. Definitely some moments to make you sigh and smile with joy. This MM story contains mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB and D/s relationship.

Richie Bellinger's life falls apart when he is left alone to cope with his father and girlfriend leaving him alone to cope with grief for his mother and the crippling debt he is saddled with. Then his best friend Adam gives him a lifeline to work for Sebastian Smythe although maybe he is opened to a new disaster as this time his heart is on the line and Seb is the man to take care of him. Seb is a world-renowned chef and owns a successful chain of restaurants. But he harbours a secret as his previous relationship has only recently ended and he is struggling to cope.

I loved this story which had a broken Seb and a broken Richie and the way that they were able to come together and support each other. I loved the way that Seb just stepped up and helped Richie at a time when he desperately needed him. The description of them being puzzle pieces which fit together was perfect and their having a more permanent HEA with a proposal would have been a much better ending. Easy to read, feel and understand there were definitely moments when I cried. There is mature MM content in this BSDM-like DDLB story with some spanking, mention of stalking behaviours and a relationship at the UK age of consent which might be lower than your own.

3 is the Magic Number by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jake’s search for love, the one thing that has been missing from his life, leads him to not one, but two men. With everything at stake, does he have what both Sam and Bailey need? Sam finds that sometimes the past chooses not to stay where it belongs. He must decide if Jake’s promises can give him something he craves: unconditional love. Hiding from his past causes ripples that create a backlash, leaving Bailey facing some hard truths. Will the past be too hard to overcome, or will Sam and Jake’s love change everything?

I enjoyed this book with the push and pull between the three men as they learnt to trust each other and to give everyone what they needed. I liked that they were all able to see what had gone wrong and to apologise so that they could move on and be better in the future. The interplay between the other people was a nice factor and the way they handled that also added to their relationships. After being medically discharged from the army, Sam Villard applies for a job as bar manager at the Flamingo Bar. Can The App be what Sam needs to heal his broken heart and overcome his fears after having his lower leg amputated? The app links Sam to Dom Jake Alexander but what Sam never expected was to find the one man he’d offered his heart to, only to be rejected, living under Jake’s roof, Bailey Renfrew. Is Jake the answer to healing past hurts, or will old wounds work to destroy Sam’s burgeoning hope?

I enjoyed this story with the complicated story between the three men and a Dom who knows he wants them both if only he can get them past their painful history and make sure that they both feel special with fulfilling lives. There were definitely unresolved issues in this hence the HFN ending as there is still hard work to make the relationships work. Easy to read, feel and understand.
