I was genuinely thrilled to see Kitsuki and Auslin reunited after six hundred years apart — their bond has always felt powerful and inevitable. But there were parts of the story that didn’t quite make sense to me. The decision to open their relationship to include Mateo felt confusing, especially since Kitsuki had waited so long and avoided all others. That shift didn’t feel fully grounded in the emotional logic of their reunion. I also struggled with Auslin’s constant avoidance of conflict, even when confrontation was clearly unavoidable. It added tension, but not always in a way that felt true to the stakes of the story. Still, their connection remained strong, and the emotional threads were clear and easy to follow. Their reunion had real heart even if some choices along the way left me puzzled. This was an MMM story with mature content.
