Review: Honeymoon for One by Keira Andrews 4 of 5 stars

Honeymoon for One

Honeymoon for One by Keira Andrews
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ethan, reeling from betrayal the night before his wedding, takes his honeymoon alone and meets Clay, a newly divorced tour‑bus driver starting over in his forties. Ethan’s loneliness and Clay’s quiet, rugged steadiness spark an unexpected friendship that slowly deepens into something neither man saw coming. As their days together pass, a surprising romance grows — one that neither wants to end when the trip does.

This was a great story that began with a painful betrayal and ended with real bravery and acceptance as Ethan and Clay each found the man who was perfect for them. It’s a lovely friends‑to‑lovers journey and a thoughtful bi awakening for Clay, handled with warmth and care. Ethan was a wonderful hard‑of‑hearing character, and the story gave a clear, empathetic look at what it can feel like to lose your hearing in your twenties — the isolation, the adjustments, and the resilience. There were deep emotions and feelings throughout, not just for the main couple but for many of the people around them, which made the whole book feel rich and heartfelt. A tender, emotional romance with a beautifully earned happy ending. This was an MM story with mature content.
