This was a deeply emotional, beautifully dramatic story where Jinx finally gets the happily ever after he’s been craving. I loved how he needed Mason to help heal the wounds of his past, but just as powerfully, Mason needed Jinx to pull him out of his own heartbreak. Their bond felt mutual, necessary, and transformative. Jinx was an absolute brat in the best way, and Mason was the perfect Dom to handle both his fire and his PTSD with strength and sensitivity. The ending was wonderfully dramatic, exactly the kind of payoff their journey deserved. The story is packed with big, complex emotions that are handled clearly and with care. It’s absolutely a book that will make you cry and then smile. This was an MM story with mature and and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
