Review: Fire in Cabin 27 by T.L. Travis 3 of 5 stars

Fire in Cabin 27: Double-Booked for the Holidays Series

Fire in Cabin 27: Double-Booked for the Holidays Series by T.L. Travis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A sassy human omega on the run from his heat and a grumpy dragon trying to escape his meddling family both end up double‑booked in the same remote cabin just as a snowstorm hits. Forced together by circumstance — and undeniable chemistry — their holiday getaway quickly turns into something far hotter and far more chaotic than either planned.

A sweet, fast‑paced story with an undeniable spark between the two men, whose connection shifts quickly from strangers to fated mates. Their bond felt natural and warm, and I especially enjoyed how their dynamic deepened once that fated‑mate pull came into play. The instalove vibe meant the romance moves quickly, and I would’ve loved a bit more detailed character development to flesh out their individual journeys. Still, the emotions were strong throughout, and the way they fit together — offering comfort, understanding, and a sense of belonging — makes their relationship easy to root for. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: His One and Only by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

His One and Only

His One and Only by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Valon is a rockstar spiralling under the pressure of fame and the destructive habits keeping him afloat. Marc, his longtime fan turned bodyguard, quickly realises Valon is hiding something serious and becomes determined to uncover the truth. As their connection deepens, both men struggle with their own secrets — and Marc may be the only one who can help Valon find a way out.

This story builds a beautiful connection between Valon and Marc, starting with friendship and slowly shifting into something deeper and more life‑changing. I loved how Marc gave Valon exactly what he’d been missing — time, attention, and the space to finally breathe and understand his own feelings instead of running from them. Their bond feels steady and supportive, and they truly give each other a real chance at happiness. There’s a lot of emotion woven through the book, not just from the two men but from the people who care about them, and that emotional depth makes their journey even more rewarding. A heartfelt, moving read about healing, trust, and finding someone who sees you clearly. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Dagger Daddy by Zack Wish 3 of 5 stars

Dagger Daddy: An Age Gap Russian Mafia Romance

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Landon, a 23‑year‑old law student from a powerful crime family, is kidnapped by Ivan Zorin — a lethal Bratva assassin known for his skill with knives and his cold precision. Ivan’s orders are to keep Landon alive for ransom, but their dynamic shifts quickly once Landon discovers he enjoys Ivan’s strict control and the intense chemistry between them. As desire mixes with danger, Landon begins to trust the man who should be his enemy. But when Landon’s father refuses to pay the ransom, Ivan is forced to choose between loyalty to the Bratva and the man he’s come to care for, leaving Landon’s life hanging in the balance.

There’s a strong, magnetic connection between Landon and Ivan from the start, and I liked how that bond deepened as Landon began leaning into his “little” tendencies — first as a way to manipulate Ivan, and then as something far more genuine. Their dynamic grows into more than danger and desire; it becomes emotional, too, even if the story leans toward instalove at times. The tension of their situation keeps things moving, but the ending felt very abrupt and almost like an about‑face, which was a bit disappointing after such a charged buildup. Still, the chemistry, the shifting power between them, and the emotional undercurrents from both men made it an engaging read. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Breaking the Mold by Kate Hawthorne 4 of 5 stars

Breaking the Mold

Breaking the Mold by Kate Hawthorne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Riggs, a widowed tattoo artist still healing from the loss of his husband, isn’t looking for love when nineteen‑year‑old Smith faints during his first tattoo. But their unexpected spark only grows stronger when they cross paths again at a kink club, revealing a chemistry neither can ignore. Smith, long overshadowed by his overprotective brothers, finally starts pursuing what he wants — including Riggs. As their relationship deepens, they must navigate age differences, lingering grief, and the return of someone from Riggs’s past who threatens their fragile new happiness. Both men are broken in different ways, but together they might have a chance at a future they never imagined.

This was a really enjoyable story with an undeniable pull between Riggs and Smith — the kind of chemistry that feels immediate yet grounded in the way their kinks and desires align so naturally. Their dynamic fits together beautifully, giving their relationship a sense of inevitability. I especially loved how open‑hearted Smith was, not just in exploring what he wanted with Riggs, but in accepting the lingering presence of Riggs’s late husband with such maturity and compassion. It added a lovely emotional depth to their connection. There are plenty of feelings running through this book — from both men and from the people who matter to them — and those emotional layers make their journey even more satisfying. A heartfelt, passionate read with characters who feel genuinely worth rooting for. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: First by K.C. Wells 4 of 5 stars

First: An Age-Gap MM First-Time Romance

First: An Age-Gap MM First-Time Romance by K.C. Wells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tommy, a nineteen‑year‑old fresh out of small‑town Georgia, hopes Athens will give him the freedom to finally be himself. But his first visit to a gay bar leaves him overwhelmed — until Mike, the experienced bartender with a complicated past, notices him. Their instant connection forces both men to confront what they really want: Tommy searching for his identity, and Mike finally ready to stop performing and reach for something real.

This was a tender, emotional story built around the undeniable connection between Tommy and Mike — something far deeper than simple attraction or sex. From the moment they meet, there’s a sense that they see something real in each other, even if neither is quite ready for it. I especially loved how Tommy found a second family through his roommate Ben. Ben’s mum, Caroline, was wonderfully protective and warm, and her acceptance gave Tommy the safety he’d never had before. Those scenes added so much heart to the story. The emotions between Tommy and Mike are vivid and sincere, though their feelings do spark a little quickly and don’t always reach the depth I hoped for. Still, their bond feels meaningful, and the story carries a lovely mix of vulnerability, longing, and quiet courage as they figure out what they could be together. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: The Geek and the Artist by Sarah Jayne 4 of 5 stars

The Geek and the Artist

The Geek and the Artist by Sarah Jayne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a sweet, chaotic opposites‑attract MM college romcom about Luca, an anxious, hyper-organised genius, and Del, a golden‑retriever‑hearted artist who keeps literally crashing into him. Their accidental run‑ins turn into friendship, then something deeper, as Del coaxes Luca out of his shell and Luca grounds Del’s whirlwind energy. With meddling friends, plenty of laughs, and a false accusation that threatens what they’re building, the story blends humour, heart, and found‑family warmth as two very different guys discover they fit together perfectly.

A funny, heartfelt, and unexpectedly emotional read.  Luca and Del start with the sweetest, gentlest spark—awkward run‑ins, shy smiles, and two complete opposites slowly learning how to fit into each other’s worlds. Their relationship grows with such warmth and patience that when the false accusation hits, it genuinely hurts. The heartbreak is real, and watching them navigate that moment made their connection feel even deeper. The Geek Squad absolutely stole the show for me. They’re chaotic, hilarious, and loyal in the most endearing, slightly meddling way. Their support adds so much heart to the story and makes the world feel wonderfully lived‑in. Between the humour, the big emotions, and the tender way these two men fall for each other, this book delivers all the feels. I’m already excited for the next instalment in the series. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Forbidden Alliance by Silvia Violet 4 of 5 stars

His Forbidden Alliance

His Forbidden Alliance by Silvia Violet
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rafe, a mafia heir desperate to prove himself, catches charming grifter Zach cheating in his casino—but instead of kicking him out, he’s drawn to him. Their dangerous attraction deepens just as a vengeful Russian enemy closes in. When Zach saves Rafe’s life and reveals he’s actually an undercover agent, they’re forced into a secret alliance where desire and betrayal collide. Loving Zach could destroy Rafe, but walking away might destroy him even faster.

A gripping, high‑stakes romance packed with danger, loyalty, and heart.
Rafe and Zach’s connection is forged in chaos—cheating, secrets, mafia politics, and life‑or‑death threats—and somehow only grows stronger the more impossible it becomes. The drama is constant, the danger feels real, and every choice they make puts them both at risk. But beneath all the tension and betrayal is a surprisingly tender love story between two men who shouldn’t trust each other and can’t stay away. What really stands out is the emotional depth—not just from Rafe and Zach, but from the people orbiting their world. Every relationship feels charged, every moment carries weight, and the romance hits with intensity because of everything they’re fighting against. A dramatic, dangerous, and deeply emotional read that delivers both adrenaline and heart. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Protecting His Life by Elouise East 5 of 5 stars

Protecting His Life

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Brett has spent his life trying to escape his father’s criminal legacy while protecting the people who rely on him. As someone begins targeting his team, he fears he has nothing left to give — especially when it comes to the feelings he’s been denying for Felix, his loyal right‑hand man. Felix has secretly loved Brett from the start, even though he believes his own violent past makes him unworthy. When danger forces them apart, he’s left clinging to memories and what‑ifs. When one of their own is taken, the Royal Bodyguards will stop at nothing to get them back in this friends‑to‑lovers romance filled with secrets, danger, and longing.

This instalment really highlights the deep love and friendship between Brett and Felix — two men who’ve worked side by side for years, building a bond that was always more than professional. It finally feels like the right moment for them to step into what they’ve both wanted, and watching that shift from loyalty to love is incredibly satisfying. The ongoing mystery of who’s targeting the Royal Bodyguards adds strong momentum, especially once Felix is forcibly removed from the board. The tension spikes, and the plot drives toward a dramatic, emotional conclusion. Brett’s complicated family dynamics add even more depth, giving the story layers of suspense and vulnerability. I loved the passion between Brett and Felix, and the sheer intensity of the emotions running through not just the two of them, but the entire team around them. It’s a story full of loyalty, longing, and the kind of connection that refuses to break, no matter the danger. This was an MM story with mature content and BDSM-like D/s dynamics.

Review: Bodean by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars

Bodean

Bodean by Aja Foxx
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bodean returns home after an abusive relationship, finally ready to explore his long‑held feelings for Josiah — the dominant, steady mechanic he’s secretly wanted for years. Josiah has always wanted Bodean too, and when he shows up needing help, it feels like the perfect moment for them to finally come together. But their growing bond is threatened when Bodean’s dangerous ex arrives, trying to pull him back into old patterns. With support from the McKenzie clan, Bodean and Josiah stand united against the threat, fighting for safety, love, and a future built on trust.

This story is full of emotion, and the pull between Bodean and Josiah feels absolutely inevitable — like now was finally the right moment for them to stop running from what they’d always needed in each other. Their connection has a quiet intensity, built on trust, longing, and the sense that they fit together in ways neither had ever found before. I especially loved how Josiah was able to quiet the noise in Bodean’s head — the doubts, the fear, the instinct to run — and give him the steadiness he’d been craving for years. Josiah’s calm strength didn’t just anchor Bodean; it also helped the entire McKenzie clan reconnect with him, which added a lovely layer of family healing to the romance. There are a lot of emotions and complicated feelings woven throughout the story, and watching these two finally choose each other made the journey worth it. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon

Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kirion is a “set omega,” unable to shift and stripped of all rights, sold off despite once being a wolf‑pack prince. At a private auction, dragon shifter Tane intends to buy an omega for his troubled son — but instead finds himself drawn to Kirion. As their connection grows, Tane must confront his ethics and his strained family ties, while Kirion begins to hope he’s finally found where he belongs.

This story is packed with emotion, and the pull between Kirion and Tane is unmistakable from the moment their paths cross. Both men carry their own emotional torment — Kirion from a lifetime of being treated as property because he can’t shift, and Tane from the complicated guilt and grief tied to his own family. That shared pain gives their connection a depth that’s hard to ignore. While I enjoyed the romance and the intensity of their bond, the constant focus on whether true consent was possible for someone who’d been purchased did start to feel repetitive and slowed the pacing in the middle. Even so, the emotional weight of their journey kept me invested. I was surprised by how easily Tane seemed able to move on from his first son, Malin, especially considering how much of Malin’s behaviour stemmed from Tane not getting him the help he needed after losing his Papa. It added a bittersweet edge to Tane’s growth. Despite that, the story delivers a well‑earned happy ending for both men. Their feelings are vivid, the emotions run high, and their connection shines through the darker moments. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Anderson (Special Operation Sitter) #1 by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Anderson (Special Operation Sitter

Anderson (Special Operation Sitter by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Anderson Travolta’s world is upended when his sister, Talia, is brutally attacked and left hospitalized. Taking leave from the military, he steps in to care for her triplets while trying to uncover who targeted her. His search pulls him into a dangerous conflict with a cartel, putting his whole family in jeopardy. With help from his military friends and Pamela — a determined social worker from his high‑school past — Anderson follows a trail of clues that grows more dangerous at every turn. As they work together, an unexpected romance sparks between them. Blending danger, family loyalty, and growing love, this four‑part series builds toward a tense, gripping conclusion.

This story pulled me in right from the start. The danger surrounding Anderson keeps rising as he tries to uncover what really happened to his sister, all while caring for three babies who aren’t even a year old. That constant tension — balancing mystery, fear, and the chaos of triplets — made the stakes feel incredibly real. I loved the dynamic with Pamela, his old school friend and now a dedicated social worker. She steps in to help without hesitation, and the quiet, growing connection between them builds beautifully in the background as they work together to keep the children safe. There are so many emotions woven through this story, and I felt every one of them. I’m completely invested now, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Review: The Wrong Man by Jessica Jackman 3 of 5 stars

The Wrong Man

The Wrong Man by Jessica Jackman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dante brutally mistook Dylan for his criminal twin and imprisoned him, unleashing the darkest parts of himself on an innocent man. When he discovers the truth, guilt consumes him. Now he’s desperate for redemption, forgiveness, and the love he never believed he deserved. Dylan, once the “wrong man,” has become the only man Dante wants — and the one who forces him to confront the possibility that he isn’t a monster after all.

This was an intense and emotional story, especially in the way Dante’s actions left Dylan deeply traumatised. Seeing Dylan slowly recover and reconnect with something familiar — his love of baking — added a much‑needed softness to the darker themes. Those moments showed the lighter, gentler side of him that Dante eventually learned to see and cherish. I appreciated the premise and the heavy emotions woven through their dynamic, but I didn’t fully love the execution. The middle section dragged a bit for me, with little variation in the plot, and the strong elements of Stockholm syndrome and obsession made their relationship harder to believe at times. Still, the contrast between Dylan’s quiet resilience and Dante’s desperate need for redemption created a compelling tension. Their connection, though unconventional, carried a raw emotional weight that kept me reading. This was an MM story with mature content.

Bedtime Stories : A DD/lb MM Romance

Bedtime Stories : A DD/lb MM Romance by Raquel Riley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Oren finds comfort in late‑night online chats with Keane, a steady “Daddy” voice who gives him rules and reassurance. What begins as harmless guidance quickly turns into something deeper for both of them. Keane tries to keep boundaries, but Oren’s shy honesty makes that nearly impossible. When they unexpectedly meet at a weekend retreat, one look and one soft “Daddy” make every rule they set feel breakable. Oren wants to trust him. Keane wants to protect him. And their chemistry threatens to burn through every line they drew.

This story had such a strong, compelling connection between Oren and Keane, and I loved how that bond deepened as the stakes rose. From their first late‑night messages, there’s a tenderness and protectiveness in the way Keane speaks to Oren — a steady, grounding presence that only grows stronger once they meet in person. Keane’s organised, lawyer‑mindset becomes one of the most powerful parts of the story. It’s not just structure for the sake of rules; it’s how he shows care. When Oren later needs real support, Keane steps in with calm, capable certainty, proving exactly what a Daddy should be for someone as vulnerable and earnest as Oren. The chemistry between them is intense, but it’s the emotional safety, the trust, and the fierce protectiveness that make their dynamic shine. A passionate, heartfelt read with a beautifully drawn Daddy/boy connection. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: London Fog by E.M. Lindsey 4 of 5 stars

London Fog

London Fog by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wren, co‑owner of the BrewBiz Deaf Café, lives by three rules: no relationships, no commitments, no complications. But those rules fall apart the moment Percy — newly arrived from the UK — literally stumbles into his life. One night together is enough to shake Wren to his core, leaving him wanting more despite everything he swears he doesn’t do. Panicked by feelings he doesn’t understand, Wren pushes Percy away and breaks his heart. Regret hits immediately, and with the help of his found family, Wren begins to realise he doesn’t have to fit into a box or deny himself what he wants. Now he just has to apologise, hope Percy will listen, and pray it isn’t too late to make things right.

This was such an emotional, passionate story, and Wren’s journey is what truly made it shine. From the moment he and Percy collide, the connection between them is undeniable — electric, tender, and impossible for either of them to ignore. Watching Wren fight those feelings, then slowly unravel and confront the parts of himself he’s always avoided, was incredibly moving. His path toward self‑discovery is messy and painful, but it’s also hopeful. With the support of his found family, he learns he doesn’t have to fit into rigid rules or labels to deserve love. That growth is what finally allows him to reach for Percy in a way that feels honest and real. The story is full of big emotions, vulnerability, and heat, and the bond between Wren and Percy is beautifully written. Their pull toward each other, even through fear and mistakes, makes their eventual happiness feel deeply earned. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Vigilant by Cora Rose by Lark Taylor 5 of 5 stars

Vigilant

Vigilant by Cora Rose by Lark Taylor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wylder lives by control—protecting his family, suppressing his own darkness, and keeping every part of his life predictable. But Neo shatters that stability. He’s the one temptation Wylder can’t ignore, the one variable he can’t manage. As danger closes in, Wylder finds himself drawn to Neo in ways that feel less like losing control… and more like falling in love.

A gripping, character‑driven romance that hooked me from page one.  What I loved most was the irresistible pull between Wylder and Neo—no matter how hard Wylder clung to control, Neo slipped past every one of his defences. Their connection feels magnetic, dangerous, and completely inevitable. Neo is such a beautifully layered character. Beneath the chaos and bravado is someone deeply insecure and painfully sensitive, and watching Wylder slowly recognise and respond to that vulnerability was one of my favourite parts of the book. Over time, every wall Wylder built around himself is stripped away, and the shift from rigid control to genuine emotional surrender is incredibly satisfying. And I have to say—the incident with Candace and the dye? Absolutely deserved and absolutely perfect. A fantastic addition to the series, full of tension, heart, and two men who never stood a chance of resisting each other. This was an MM story with mature content.

Affogato

Affogato by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Caleb’s thriving Deaf‑owned café can’t distract him from the disaster of his love life, especially after his ex cheats, dumps him in public, and turns him into a viral humiliation. Bitter and closed off, he convinces himself he doesn’t deserve anything good—least of all Bodhi, the anxious, sweet new hire he’s been unfairly cold toward from day one. Bodhi, though, has his own quiet strength and a past that explains far more than Caleb realises. As they grow closer, he shows Caleb a gentler kind of love: one without conditions, pressure, or expectations. Their connection becomes a chance for Caleb to heal and believe in a real happily ever after.

The story is packed with emotion from the opening chapter to the final page, and both Caleb and Bodhi bring a depth that makes their journey feel incredibly real. Caleb is still reeling from a humiliating public breakup, trying to rebuild his confidence while navigating the unexpected pull he feels toward Bodhi. At the same time, Bodhi is struggling with his limited ASL, past trauma, and the challenges of being autistic in a world that often misunderstands him. Their connection grows through small moments of trust, care, and vulnerability, and the way Caleb supports Bodhi — gently, patiently, and with genuine respect — gives the romance a beautiful tenderness. The story also offers meaningful insight into Deaf culture and the everyday realities Deaf people face, adding richness to the emotional arc. The feelings between them are vivid and easy to understand, making their slow, heartfelt bond one of the most compelling parts of the book. It’s a love story full of warmth, healing, and the kind of emotional honesty that lingers. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Counterpoint by Declan Rhodes 5 of 5 stars

Counterpoint

Counterpoint by Declan Rhodes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A powerful New Orleans conductor receives a handwritten funeral march warning that someone from his past wants him dead. Dominic St. Clair hires protection, bringing former Army Ranger Thiago into his music‑filled home — and into constant friction with Luca, Dominic’s fiercely loyal assistant. As threats escalate into break‑ins and near‑attacks, Thiago and Luca are forced into close proximity, uncovering a decades‑old grudge while fighting an inconvenient attraction. Everything builds toward Dominic’s final concert, where the attacker plans a public reckoning, and Thiago and Luca must trust each other if they hope to save him — and risk choosing a future together.

I loved this story. The pull between Luca and Thiago is undeniable from the moment they’re forced into each other’s orbit, and that simmering tension threads beautifully through the entire story. Their connection feels raw and real, shaped by two very different lives but drawn together by the same fierce need to protect Dominic as danger closes in. The suspense is wonderfully handled, each new threat tightening the atmosphere and guiding me toward the truth behind the plot without ever giving too much away. The emotional stakes are just as high as the physical ones — grief, loyalty, fear, longing, and hope all collide in ways that feel deeply human and skillfully written. What stood out most was how their growing bond is woven into the unfolding mystery rather than overshadowing it. The tenderness between them, the guarded vulnerability, and the slow shift from distrust to something much deeper made their relationship feel fully earned. I loved how eccentric Dominic was and yet he was very capable of love and affection for those important to him. A gripping blend of tension, emotion, and connection that kept me invested in both the danger and the love story at its heart. This was an MM story with mature content.

Lost in Indigo

Lost in Indigo by V.L. Locey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After a career-ending injury sidelines hockey captain Mathieu at the peak of his success, he retreats home consumed by anger and loss. When Indigo, a gentle and supportive botany student, comes to care for him, an unexpected connection forms—helping Mathieu heal and discover that losing his path might lead to something better.

This was such an emotional read, centering on Mathieu at a major crossroads—not just with his hockey career after his injury, but also with his sexuality and sense of self. Watching him struggle felt raw and real, especially as his lies pile up until they cost him the one person who truly mattered, leaving him with nothing. The pull between Mathieu and Indigo is undeniable, full of intensity and vulnerability that makes every moment between them feel significant. Their connection is deeply emotional, and I loved how much heart the story brought to their journey. That said, Mathieu’s repeated mixed signals could be frustrating at times. The contrast between him defending Indigo in one moment—like standing up against disrespect—and then turning around to suppress Indigo’s individuality and deny their relationship made his actions feel conflicting. Still, those flaws added to the realism of his character and the weight of his growth. A messy, heartfelt story filled with big emotions and a powerful connection. This was an MM story with mature content.

Eight by Paulina Ian-Kane
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sully keeps dreaming of a masked man, and the dreams awaken unexpected sexual fantasies. He’s then saved in real life by Ezra—new to his family—who turns out to be connected to a dangerous killer named Nine. Despite family distrust and his own unresolved past, Ezra’s intense dominance pulls Sully in as Nine escalates the threat, leaving them unsure whether they’ll survive or ever get a happy ending.

This story is packed with danger, drama, and raw emotion—and I especially loved Eight’s obsession with Sully, which is his version of love. There’s an undeniable pull between them that feels intense, inevitable, and impossible to ignore. The plot keeps the tension high while pulling in all the numbered men and their partners, making the whole series feel connected and alive. I also really enjoyed the twists and turns that built toward the end, and the way the story wraps up with a satisfying ending that feels right for the series. A highly addictive read with plenty of heat, suspense, and heart. This was an MM story with mature content.

Heavy Hand

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Max isn’t pathetic—he just tends to get emotionally attached when someone shows him attention. After a one-night stand with Jeremiah, who seems different from his past hookups, Max is left with only a note the next morning. When they unexpectedly reconnect—since Jeremiah owns a nearby restaurant—Max finds himself drawn to him despite Jeremiah’s clear reluctance to pursue a relationship. For the first time, Max feels something worth fighting for in this friends-with-benefits romance filled with humour, chaos, and heartfelt moments.

This story completely won me over with the undeniable pull between Max and Jeremiah—it’s magnetic, complicated, and impossible to ignore. Even when they try to keep things casual, the connection between them feels deeper than either is ready to admit. What really stood out was how both characters carry their own demons, yet somehow find strength in facing them together. Their journey isn’t easy, but it feels real and earned, making their growth as individuals and as a pair incredibly satisfying. There are a lot of big emotions packed into this book, but they’re handled with care and authenticity, never feeling overwhelming or forced. It’s a heartfelt, messy, and ultimately hopeful romance that lingers long after the last page. This was an MM story with mature content.

Santo Bianchi, the new mafia boss, lives by strict rules about control and never getting attached — until he meets Isaiah, a smart, submissive young man who wants stability and secretly longs for a Daddy. Isaiah’s sweetness and vulnerability break through every wall Santo has built. As their bond deepens, rival crime families sense weakness and move in, forcing Santo to choose between protecting his empire or the little who’s become his everything. Isaiah must decide if he can accept the danger that comes with loving a mafia Daddy and fully submit to Santo.

This story delivered a gripping mix of danger, devotion, and tenderness. The connection between Santo and Isaiah is intense from the start — a bond built on trust, need, and a fierce emotional pull neither of them can ignore. What really stood out was Santo’s protectiveness; every moment with Isaiah brings out a softer, deeply caring side of a man who’s spent his life wrapped in power and violence. Amid the drama and threats from rival families, their relationship remains the heart of the book. The contrast between the danger surrounding them and the gentleness Santo shows Isaiah creates a dynamic that’s both compelling and incredibly sweet. A passionate, dramatic romance with a powerful Daddy and the boy who becomes his whole world. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: My Treasure by Roe Horvat 1 of 5 stars

My Treasure

My Treasure by Roe Horvat
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Prince Gillam flees an arranged marriage to a cruel man just before his first heat, only to collapse in the forest with wolves closing in. Instead of dying, he’s swept away by a terrifying winged creature. When he wakes, he finds himself safe, warm, and being tenderly cared for by a handsome stranger named Fergus — leaving Gillam to wonder not just who rescued him, but what he’s been taken by.

This novella had an intriguing premise, but ultimately it left me disappointed. The relationship between Gillam and Fergus felt too high‑level, with very little emotional depth or genuine connection shown on the page. Almost everything between them was attributed to the mating bond or Gillam’s heat, which made their dynamic feel more like circumstance than choice. I wanted to feel the tenderness, fear, wonder, or longing that should come with a rescue and a growing bond, but those emotions never really materialised. Without that development, the story felt rushed and lacked the feelings that make a pairing believable. A promising idea, but the emotional core just wasn’t there. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Fine Line by E.M. Lindsey 4 of 5 stars

Fine Line

Fine Line by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Paris moves to Key Largo for a fresh start, but he quickly finds himself drawn to his sweet, Deaf neighbour, Ben — even after overhearing Ben’s very enthusiastic nights with his FWB. Ben’s kindness and quiet charm stir feelings Paris has never let himself want. Despite his tough exterior, Paris longs to open up and be vulnerable, hoping Ben will have the patience to wait while he learns how to believe in something real.

This story hit me right in the heart. Paris’s dysfunctional childhood — one that taught him not to trust, not to hope, and certainly not to form real relationships — shaped so much of who he is. Watching him slowly unlearn that pain was incredibly moving. And Ben’s experience as a Deaf man surrounded by hearing people who never bothered to learn sign language added its own layer of quiet heartbreak. His loneliness was different from Paris’s, but just as deep. What made the book shine was the connection between them. Their chemistry, their passion, and the way they instinctively understood each other created something tender and powerful. Seeing them build a space where both could finally feel seen was beautiful. A heartfelt, emotional romance that balances vulnerability, desire, and the slow, steady work of healing. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Tracker by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

Tracker

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tracker has watched his brothers find love and is convinced he’s better off sticking to computers. His closest bond is with Zeus, the charming kink‑club owner who seems irresistible to everyone except Tracker. Their shared love of hacking has made them best friends, but while Zeus is determined to crack Tracker’s emotional shell, Tracker insists he’s only interested in online dating and nothing more — even if Zeus keeps tempting him to rethink everything.

This story delivers a powerful, emotionally charged bond between Tracker and Zeus — a connection so intense it borders on obsession in the best, most heartfelt way. Their love is threaded through every interaction, and watching two men who clearly adore each other try to navigate feelings that big is incredibly compelling. I especially loved how the book handled Tracker’s emotional journey. His feelings often hit him harder than he knew how to process, and that vulnerability made his growth all the more meaningful. Zeus’s unwavering devotion only amplified the depth between them. A strong, passionate, deeply connected pairing that makes the entire story pulse with emotion. This was an MM story with mature content.

Crochet Cuddles

Crochet Cuddles by Avery Rhodes
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tristan runs a cozy crochet business but still aches for the Daddy he doesn’t have. Daniel, a woodworker and newly discovered Daddy Dom, fills his playroom with handmade toys while longing for the boy meant to share them. When both men set up at a local craft fair, Daniel spots an adorable crochet dragon — and the sweet creator behind it — sparking a connection that might finally bring a lonely Daddy and a boy in need of care together.

This was such a sweet, satisfying story built around an undeniable connection between two men who fit together perfectly. Tristan and Daniel’s needs, desires, and relationship dynamics aligned so naturally that their bond felt inevitable from the moment they met. Daniel is a wonderfully steady, caring Daddy, and Tristan is exactly the boy who brings out his gentleness and purpose. Their dynamic is tender, affirming, and full of warmth, making their journey a joy to read. A heartfelt, comforting romance with a strong Daddy and the perfect little boy who was always meant for him. This was an MM story with mature and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Fresh Ink: Irons and Works Short Story Collection

Fresh Ink: Irons and Works Short Story Collection by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a collection of over 100,000 words of short stories revisiting the Irons and Works family. These glimpses range from weddings and vacations to everyday struggles and joyful milestones, showing what happens to the tattoo artists and their loved ones long after their original happily‑ever‑afters. It’s a warm, nostalgic return to familiar characters, exploring their lives weeks, months, and even years into the future.

This collection was exactly what I’d hoped for — emotional, heartfelt glimpses into the futures of the Irons and Works family. Every short story delivered that wonderful “I’ve always wondered what happened next” feeling, answering questions I didn’t even realise I still had. Some moments made me smile, others brought happy tears, and all of them reminded me why I love these characters so much. I especially enjoyed the surprises along the way, seeing how relationships deepened, how lives unfolded, and how this chosen family continued to grow. Review: The Math Teacher and His Werewolf by Shaw Montgomery 3 of 5 stars

The Math Teacher and His Werewolf: A Fated Mates Romance

The Math Teacher and His Werewolf: A Fated Mates Romance by Shaw Montgomery
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dorian, a math teacher who’s always known the supernatural exists but prefers not to get involved, suddenly finds it impossible to ignore the very obvious werewolf hanging around the animal shelter where he volunteers. Braun, that slightly grumpy werewolf with a mischievous sense of humor, has never paid much attention to humans — until Dorian walks in and turns out to be his mate. With one awkward conversation, everything changes, and the two must figure out how to balance saving the day with the pull of a budding happily‑ever‑after.

This was such a sweet, clever story, and I loved the way Dorian handled the young werewolf at the shelter — calm, thoughtful, and exactly the kind of steady presence Braun’s pack needed in an alpha mate. His open‑mindedness and quiet competence made him feel perfect for the role, even before he realised what he was stepping into. The romance itself was warm and fun, with clear communication and a lovely sense of connection between Dorian and Braun. I really enjoyed their dynamic, though I found myself wishing we’d learned more about the other pack and what came next for them. The only thing that occasionally pulled me out of the story was the missing words here and there, which made some sections a bit harder to follow. But overall, it was an enjoyable, charming read with a delightful pairing at its heart. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Ornamental by E.M. Lindsey 5 of 5 stars

Ornamental

Ornamental by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Luke feels like the only one at Irons and Works still unlucky in love, convinced something about him must be unlovable. That changes when Tony introduces his older half‑brother — a single dad with Tourette Syndrome whose quiet intensity immediately focuses on Luke. Despite the age gap and their personal complications, the spark between them grows through practice dates, stargazing, and learning to trust, leading them toward a sweet, well‑earned happily ever after.

This story is full of big, heartfelt emotions, and the connection between Luke and Raf is impossible to miss. Both men carry their own wounds, but Raf’s especially — losing so much because of his Tourette Syndrome — hit hard and added such depth to his journey. I found myself rooting for him from the moment he appeared. What made the book even more special was the way the Irons and Works chosen family immediately wrapped Raf in warmth and support. They didn’t just accept him; they gave him space, help, and belonging in all the ways he’d been denied before. Luke and Raf’s bond grows with tenderness, intensity, and a sense of inevitability, making their romance both moving and deeply satisfying. A beautiful, emotional read that left me smiling. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: A Daddy for Cooper by Emory Winters 4 of 5 stars

A Daddy for Cooper

A Daddy for Cooper by Emory Winters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cooper, a submissive alpha finally ready to stop hiding who he is, finds himself irresistibly drawn to Patrick Morgan — the enigmatic Daddy Dom he’s quietly admired ever since Patrick returned to Foxwood Hollow. Patrick, still carrying deep trust wounds from his past, believes he should stay far away from someone as open‑hearted and vulnerable as Cooper. But the pull between them is undeniable. Cooper craves Patrick’s guidance, and Patrick can’t ignore the beautiful, eager fox who slips through the cracks in his walls. In their small, close‑knit shifter town, resisting each other becomes impossible.

This story is packed with deep, heartfelt emotion, and the connection between Cooper and Patrick is powerful from the very beginning. As they navigate their complicated dynamic — Cooper with his tender vulnerability and Patrick with his guarded, wounded heart — there are moments that absolutely tug at the reader. I found myself wanting to wrap Cooper in the biggest hug, especially during the scenes where his hurt was so raw and beautifully written. Their journey is full of intensity, longing, and genuine feeling, and the emotional beats are described in a way that makes them easy to understand and impossible not to feel. A touching, tear‑pricking story that delivers both depth and warmth. This was an MM story with mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Scratcher by E.M. Lindsey 4 of 5 stars

Scratcher

Scratcher by E.M. Lindsey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Micah lives by strict hookup rules to keep his emotions in check, but everything changes when he meets Ryan — a gorgeous, stressed‑out stranger who can only offer secret Thursday‑night meetups. Despite Ryan’s hidden complications, their connection deepens fast, pushing Micah to want more for the first time. To make it work, he needs Ryan to give him something real, something worth holding onto.

This was such an emotional, beautifully crafted story, and the connection between Micah and Ryan was impossible to ignore. Even with both men facing real constraints — Micah navigating life with BPD and Ryan trapped in a complicated home situation — their pull toward each other felt natural, tender, and deeply human. I really appreciated how sensitively Micah’s BPD was portrayed. It was honest and factual without ever reducing him to a diagnosis. Ryan’s circumstances were equally clear and easy to understand, adding weight to why he struggled to give more even when he wanted to. Their relationship is full of big emotions, raw moments, and a slow, steady shift toward something real. And the happy ending felt absolutely earned. A heartfelt, moving read that stayed with me. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: It Started with a Text by Jax Calder 4 of 5 stars

It Started with a Text

It Started with a Text by Jax Calder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nick never expects anything serious to come from a snarky viral video he makes about his celebrity crush, pop star Anthony Devine. So when someone claiming to be Anthony slides into his DMs, Nick assumes it’s just a catfish. But their conversations quickly become the best part of his day — funny, honest, and surprisingly intimate. After a month of nonstop messaging, Nick is falling hard for a guy whose real identity he still doubts. Meeting could ruin everything… or prove that the man behind the screen really is the superstar he’s been crushing on. It Started with a Text is a sweet, modern novella about unexpected connection, online chemistry, and the possibility that the “catfish” might actually be the real deal.

This was such a fun, charming read. The humour between Nick and AntD absolutely made the story — that video recreating the pretentious apartment tour had me laughing out loud. Their banter was sharp and playful, but what really won me over were the deeper conversations they shared about emotions, trust, and past hurt. For a novella, it packed a surprising amount of heart. Their connection felt effortless, growing from jokes and memes into something meaningful and sweet. Add in the modern twist of maybe‑catfishing, maybe‑not, and it becomes a delightful blend of tension and hope. A light, funny, heartfelt story with a satisfying HEA. I enjoyed every minute. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: House of Cards by Courtney W. Dixon 5 of 5 stars

House of Cards

House of Cards by Courtney W. Dixon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Calvin Abernathy is perfectly content with his no‑strings, no‑kids lifestyle — until a tragic accident leaves him the guardian of his friends’ grieving fourteen‑year‑old son. Completely out of his depth, he turns to his hot, infuriating neighbor Seth for help. Seth has always thought Calvin was a jerk, even if an annoyingly attractive one, but he agrees to step in for the boy’s sake. As the two men grow closer, their friendship starts to blur into something deeper, complicating Seth’s new relationship and forcing him to confront what — and who — he really wants. When red flags appear with Seth’s boyfriend, the choice becomes clear: it’s Calvin he trusts, and Calvin he’s falling for.

This story had such a strong, undeniable pull between Calvin and Seth — the kind of connection that only grows deeper as their lives and families slowly merge. Watching them navigate everything from Seth’s increasingly troubling boyfriend situation to Calvin suddenly becoming guardian to Braeden added so many rich layers to their relationship. The emotional stakes were high, and every feeling was beautifully described and easy to connect with. I loved how their bond shifted from irritation to friendship to something much more meaningful, all while juggling kids, grief, healing, and the messy realities of starting over. Braeden’s storyline in particular brought so much heart, grounding Calvin in ways he never expected. A heartfelt, emotional read, and I can’t wait to see where this series goes next. This was an MM story with mature content.
