Review: Burke by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars

Burke

Burke by Aja Foxx
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Burke, a former soldier hiding his insecurities behind sarcasm, finds new purpose at Black Butte Ranch — and an unexpected pull toward Danny, an omega trapped in an abusive home. Their connection grows despite Danny’s fear of alphas, and Dennis’s escalating violence eventually forces Danny to choose safety and trust. After a brutal confrontation, Danny accepts Burke’s support, moves to the ranch, and later discovers he’s pregnant. For the first time, he chooses an alpha because he wants the life they can build together.

The undeniable connection between Burke and Danny shines from the very beginning, even when they’re both trying hard to pretend it isn’t there. I loved how Burke’s protective instincts were already in full force long before the pregnancy — and how that determination only deepened once he knew Danny and the baby needed him. His soft heart was impossible to miss. One of my favourite parts was seeing all the ex‑SEALs rally around them, using every skill and resource they had to keep Danny safe. And Danny himself wasn’t nearly as fragile as he first appeared; he got moments to stand strong and shine in his own right, which made their partnership feel more balanced and meaningful. The story is full of big emotions and feelings that are easy to understand and connect with, making their journey both heartfelt and satisfying. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Wounded Mate by Lee Colgin 3 of 5 stars

Wounded Mate

Wounded Mate by Lee Colgin
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

An incubus named Valius is suddenly struck by the agony of a feral werewolf’s wounds — pain that isn’t his, but belongs to Bela, a dying wolf left for dead by a hostile pack. When Valius finds him, the moment their eyes meet reveals the truth: they’re mates. For Bela, who has lived a life of loneliness and suffering, that spark gives him something worth fighting for. But a witch’s curse threatens to tear them apart, and fate’s fragile gift may not be enough to save their bond.

This was a sweet novella that managed to tell a complete story within its shorter length, but I did feel it was missing some of the deeper feelings and emotional detail that would have made the connection between the characters truly shine. Even so, it was an enjoyable read with a clear arc and a satisfying resolution. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Booker's Bliss by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Booker's Bliss

Booker's Bliss by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Booker Starling, a gruff alpha bear with a guarded heart, has always kept his distance from Frey Abbott — until one pivotal moment forces him to see the flirty fox PA in a completely new way. With old rules no longer binding him and Frey’s true vulnerability revealed, resisting becomes impossible. Booker finally decides to take a chance on love, even if it means breaking every rule he set for himself.

The undeniable attraction between Booker and Frey was one of the strongest parts of this story — both of them trying so hard to deny what everyone else could clearly see. I loved how soft‑hearted Booker was beneath all that gruffness, always determined to protect those more vulnerable, and how that protective streak showed long before either of them admitted their feelings. Frey’s persistence, paired with Booker’s instinctive care, made their slow shift toward each other feel inevitable. And once they made their life‑changing decision, the support from both the Starling family and the PA family added so much warmth and humour. There were plenty of emotions and feelings throughout, making their journey easy to connect with. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with an associated MPREG.

Review: Macon by Aja Foxx 3 of 5 stars

Macon

Macon by Aja Foxx
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Macon is shocked when Carter returns to the ranch pregnant, and he’s determined not to run again. Once terrified and feeling unworthy, he now wants to protect Carter from his controlling father and be part of their baby’s life. Carter, long overshadowed by his wealthy family, finally felt seen after one night with Macon — until he woke up alone. Back in Texas, he discovered he was pregnant and chose to keep the baby. When his family eventually confronted him, Carter realised his true home was with the people who accepted him: Macon, Rawley, and the ranch.

Carter’s cleverness really stood out in this story — the way he quietly set up his own financial safety net to escape his father’s control showed just how resourceful he had to be to protect himself and his future. His determination made him easy to root for. I did find it a bit strange how quickly the story shifted into talk of love between him and Macon. Their relationship moved fast, and at times I struggled to fully get behind them because the romance didn’t always feel developed on the page. Despite the book being titled Macon, so much of the emotional weight centred on Carter and his complicated family dynamics that it almost felt like the story belonged to him instead. Still, the journey was engaging, the emotions were clear, and the themes of independence and belonging were easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Stray by Lee Colgin 4 of 5 stars

Stray

Stray by Lee Colgin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Leonas, a grumpy panther shifter devoted to protecting the Twig & Berries brothel, wants nothing to do with romance — until Jeno, a young vampire on the run, arrives with bad news and an obvious crush. Drawn to each other despite their prickly edges and painful pasts, they must face the dangers chasing Jeno and the emotional walls trapping them both.

I really enjoyed this story about two men who were both used to suffering alone, even if Leonas was far more determined to keep everyone — including happiness — at arm’s length. Jeno’s refusal to accept that distance, and his gentle but persistent pursuit of the grumpy panther shifter, was one of the most satisfying parts of the book. I loved seeing different paranormal races come together to deal with the danger threatening the area. That teamwork added excitement and gave the world a rich, interconnected feel. And after everything they’d endured separately, it was wonderful to see Leonas and Jeno finally get the happy ending they both deserved. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Taylin's Temptation by J.P. Sayle 4 of 5 stars

Taylin's Temptation

Taylin's Temptation by J.P. Sayle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Taylin, cast out for being Divergent but saved by one brave act and a loving adoptive family, returns home just as his parents retire — putting him directly in the path of Hollis, the man he’s secretly wanted for years. Hollis has never shown interest, but with shifting roles and new closeness, the question becomes whether he’ll finally see what’s been in front of him all along.

This was a lovely story built around a connection that everyone around them could see long before the two men were ready to admit it themselves. Watching them slowly accept what was so obvious to everyone else made their journey feel warm and satisfying. I especially adored the Starling brothers, their parents, and the wonderfully chaotic dynamic between all the PAs — every interaction was a source of amusement and added so much charm to the story. Their collective refusal to tolerate abuse or the misuse of power gave the book a strong moral backbone that made the world feel safe and supportive. Overall, it was an easy story to read, feel, and understand, with a heartfelt romance at its centre and a cast of characters who made the experience even richer. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Rise by Keira Andrews 2 of 5 stars

Rise

Rise by Keira Andrews
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Jack climbs the beanstalk hoping for treasure and an escape from his miserable life, only to find Rion — not a giant, but a lonely guardian protecting his family’s legacy. Their fiery first clash turns into undeniable attraction, and isolated in the clouds, they begin to fall for each other. But when a new threat comes for the treasure, Jack and Rion must fight to protect both the hoard and the fragile future they’re daring to imagine.

Jack’s life is painfully difficult from the start, and that hardship shapes every choice he makes — including climbing the beanstalk with nothing left to lose. Meeting Rion at the top changes everything, and despite their fiery beginning, the connection that grows between them becomes undeniable. I did struggle at times with the writing style, which occasionally pulled me out of the novella, and I found myself irritated with both characters in places, making the reading experience a bit of hard work. Still, the premise was creative, their chemistry was clear, and the emotional core of their relationship carried the story through. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Rawley by Aja Foxx 4 of 5 stars

Rawley

Rawley by Aja Foxx
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rawley inherits a huge, thriving ranch and discovers Jojo living secretly in the old farmhouse after being kicked out by his parents and losing his home. Working together turns their initial connection into love, and Jojo’s pregnancy cements their bond. But someone covets the ranch, threatening the future they’re trying to build.

I really enjoyed this story, especially the instant connection between Rawley and JoJo and the fierce determination Rawley showed in giving JoJo safety, stability, and real protection. Their bond felt genuine from the start, and watching Rawley step up for him again and again was one of the highlights of the book. The threat to the ranch added a dramatic, danger‑filled layer that kept the tension high. Rawley slipping into full SEAL mode — backed by his capable friends — made those moments exciting and satisfying. I also loved the added depth from Rawley’s family drama, which gave the story even more emotional weight. Overall, this was a great start to the series. The emotions and feelings were easy to understand and feel, making the journey warm, engaging, and very enjoyable. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Sunshine by Athena Steller 3 of 5 stars

Sunshine

Sunshine by Athena Steller
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Hudson feels settled and happy back in his hometown, but everything changes the day he rescues a cat from a tree — an encounter that leads him straight to Bastian. Bastian, a grumpy paranormal operative returning to help his old team, is instantly drawn to the bright, sunny human who wakes him from a nap. As hidden dangers close in on the family Bastian protects, he must figure out how to bring his human mate into a world Hudson never knew existed.

I enjoyed this amusing and light‑hearted story, especially the running joke of Hudson repeatedly finding the same cat and getting increasingly irritated with its so‑called irresponsible owner — only to discover the truth about Bas and the paranormal world hiding in plain sight. His introduction to that world was fun to follow, and the reveal tied the earlier humour together nicely. I did feel that the explanation Hudson received — and how quickly he agreed to become Bastian’s mate — happened far too fast, which took a little away from the emotional impact. Still, the overall story was easy to read and understand, with plenty of charm and warmth as Hudson and Bas figured out how to fit into each other’s lives. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Changeling by Lee Colgin 4 of 5 stars

Changeling

Changeling by Lee Colgin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dominus, a bored incubus who runs the Twig & Berries brothel, finds his life shaken up when Sebastian — a newly displaced changeling fae — arrives seeking safety after learning the truth about his heritage. When danger forces Sebastian to take shelter with Dominus, the spark between them quickly turns into heated tension. Dominus hasn’t been interested in anyone for ages, and Sebastian is the first to catch his attention… but he’s fae, and Dominus has every reason to hate faeries. As trespassers close in, the two must decide whether they’ll remain enemies or let desire break the curse that stands between them.

I loved this story about two men from completely different paranormal races learning not only how to understand each other, but also how to understand themselves. Their connection grew in such an engaging way, shaped by their differences as much as their similarities. One of my favourite parts was how the story let us learn about their races right alongside Sebastian. As he discovered the world he truly belonged to — one he’d never been taught about — the reader was educated at the same pace, making every revelation feel natural and meaningful. The emotions, the tension, the curiosity, and the slow building trust all came through clearly, making it an easy story to read, feel, and understand. A wonderfully immersive paranormal romance. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Royal Fae Mate by Jax Stuart 4 of 5 stars

His Royal Fae Mate

His Royal Fae Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Safilix, a newly recognised fae prince, is ordered to mate with a royal elf for the good of his people — but the only elf he wants is Ingal, a sweet, caring omega who isn’t of noble blood. Ingal longs for Safi too, but believes a prince is far beyond his reach. Torn between duty and the elf who calls to his soul, Safilix must choose between the expectations of his crown and the mate his heart has already claimed.

This was a deeply emotional story built around the undeniable connection between Safilix and Ingal — a bond so strong that all they could do was hope the Luna had a solution for them. Both men had suffered in their own ways, which made it all the more satisfying and well deserved when they were finally able to be together and even start a family. The passion, emotions, and heartfelt moments ran throughout the book, giving their journey real weight. I also loved getting a glimpse of the Sweetwater pack further into the future, adding richness to the world and showing how far everyone has come. A tender, feeling‑filled read that was easy to follow and full of heart. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Almost Home by Alex Blaine 3 of 5 stars

Almost Home: Contemporary M-Lac Gay Romance

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Joshua, worn down after a year of trying to build a life that never comes together, decides it’s time to “go home” the way his grandpa once described — by ending everything. After a final meal and a last ride along the coast, he heads for the cliffs. Matthew, who sensed something was wrong back at the diner, spots Joshua’s abandoned bike and steps in, unable to ignore someone in need.

The story opens with such a dramatic, unforgettable moment that it completely set the tone — and honestly, nothing that followed ever quite eclipsed the intensity of that first meeting between Matthew and Joshua. Their introduction was raw, emotional, and gripping in a way that stayed with me throughout the book. I really appreciated how Matthew stepped in afterward, insisting Joshua get counselling and doing everything he could to help him rebuild — offering stability, a job, a home, and even safe transport. His steady care was one of the strongest parts of the story. That said, I did feel the book missed an opportunity by not letting them talk openly about what kind of relationship they actually wanted. With everything they’d been through, that lack of communication was noticeable. Still, the story was easy to read, easy to feel, and easy to understand — a heartfelt journey that began with a dramatic rescue and grew into something tender. This was an MM story with mature content and a Daddy/boy like dynamic with male lactation.

Review: The Revenge Mishap by Jax Calder 4 of 5 stars

The Revenge Mishap

The Revenge Mishap by Jax Calder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Leo tries to get petty revenge on his nemesis but accidentally targets his brother Archie instead, drenching him in syrup and breaking his ankle. Forced to make amends, Leo ends up helping Archie with his daily jobs — including dog walking and performing as a sparkly unicorn for kids — and the two grow unexpectedly close. Archie knows exactly why the “accident” happened, but as their banter turns tender, secrets and guilt give way to a sweet, messy grumpy‑meets‑sunshine romance.

This was such an amusing, chaotic, and charming story, and I loved the wild connection between Leo and Archie from the very start. The situations Archie managed to rope Leo into were hilarious — every scene felt like a full workout for the imagination, from the unicorn antics to the dog‑walking disasters. Their lack of communication did get frustrating at times, especially given how capable and self‑aware both men were, but thankfully they managed to sort themselves out before it went too far. Underneath all the comedy, there were real feelings and emotional beats that grounded the story beautifully. Overall, it was easy to read, easy to feel, and easy to enjoy — a messy, sweet romance wrapped in pure fun. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Mate Match: Curtis & Jae by Jax Stuart 3 of 5 stars

Mate Match: Curtis & Jae

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jae joins Mate Match hoping to find an alpha for both his upcoming heat and a real partnership, and his instant connection with Curtis surprises them both. Their bond deepens quickly, but an unexpected pregnancy puts their new relationship to the test.

This was a sweet instalove story built around the instant connection between Jae and Curtis after being matched through the app. Their relationship develops quickly — first because of Jae’s heat and then even more rapidly with the unexpected pregnancy — but the emotional moments woven throughout kept it engaging. I liked how their bond was rooted in genuine affection and growing trust, even as everything moved fast around them. The story was easy to read and understand, and their journey from match to something deeper was satisfying. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Mongrel by Lee Colgin 4 of 5 stars

Mongrel

Mongrel by Lee Colgin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Andras, a werewolf living on the pack’s fringes, agrees to help Bowie, a gentle vampire searching for missing girls. Bowie’s respect and kindness spark trust, and together they travel across Hungary, facing wilderness, danger, and a deadly killer. As their bond grows, they must overcome past trauma and work together to save the captives.

I loved this story and the way Andras and Bowie were drawn together as they worked side by side to find the missing girls. Their relationship began with simple kindness, respect, and trust — the very things Andras had been denied by his own pack — and that gentle foundation made their growing affection feel all the more meaningful. The journey across Hungary was beautifully described, and I really enjoyed the details of the landscapes, the villages, and the places they had to take refuge during daylight hours. Those moments of quiet shelter added depth to both the world and their bond. Their feelings and emotions came through clearly, and I felt every step of their connection as it deepened from warmth into something far more profound. The ending made me genuinely happy — a true happily ever after for two men who deserved it. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Unbewitched by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

Unbewitched

Unbewitched by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Stone, a commitment‑avoiding supernatural dealing with a dangerous possession, discovers that his latest partner, Lysander, is actually his fated mate. Lysander, a fairy who needs closeness to thrive, finally understands why he can’t stay away from Stone — but their timing couldn’t be worse, as Stone battles the dark entity inside him and both struggle with a bond neither expected.

This story delivered a powerful mix of mate‑bond intensity and supernatural chaos. Stone and Lysander’s connection was strong from the start, but the dark entity squatting inside Stone turns their bond into a fight for survival — especially as Lysander comes dangerously close to starving. The stakes felt real, and it took the combined strength of several supernatural beings to finally free Stone, which made the victory feel earned. I loved the sense of community throughout the book. There was so much love and loyalty between the different supernatural groups, and Stone’s devotion to those he protected was recognised and rewarded despite everything he endured. The emotional beats landed beautifully, and the whole story was easy to read and follow. This was an MM story with mature content.

His Feral Omega Mate

His Feral Omega Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Deke discovers his fated mate in Ozyn, a long‑lost dragon freed after a century of fae imprisonment. As dragons arrive in Sweetwater to help end the Northarbor aviary’s attacks, Deke is torn between his duty as Head Enforcer and staying by Ozyn’s side. Ozyn dreams of peace, family, and flying freely again — but humans and the aviary threaten that future, pushing both mates to fight for their place in the light.

This finale was packed with emotion, and the connection between Deke and Ozyn shone through every moment — not just between them as mates, but in how deeply they were tied to the Sweetwater pack and to Ozyn’s wider family and allies. I especially loved Ozyn’s sons; their immediate love for him and their wholehearted acceptance of Deke as their new dad was incredibly touching. The support network surrounding them — dragons, pack members, and long‑standing allies — added real weight to the fight against the aviary, making the world feel bigger and more united than ever. The story was full of feelings I could clearly understand, from hope to fear to fierce devotion. I was genuinely sad to see this series end, but the dramatic finish was everything I wanted. And Blake showing his absolute class in the final events and decisions was the perfect closing note. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Pakhan Daddy by Zack Wish 2 of 5 stars

Pakhan Daddy: An Age Gap Russian Mafia Romance

Pakhan Daddy: An Age Gap Russian Mafia Romance by Zack Wish
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Kirill Antonov is meant to become Pakhan, but his father’s assassination makes his rise far more dangerous. Teddy, a young trainer who’s long admired Kirill, gets pulled into his world when he’s told to train Kirill’s nephew — a command he can’t refuse. What starts as obedience turns into running errands and following strict orders, until Teddy sees the violent reality of Kirill’s life and realizes how much danger he’s in. Now he must decide whether he can escape… and whether Kirill would ever let him.

This story was packed with danger and drama, which made a great contrast to Teddy himself — a sweet, optimistic character who always tries to see the best in life. His warmth made him instantly endearing, and watching him navigate Kirill’s dark, violent world added a compelling emotional tension. I did find Kirill’s role a bit confusing. A Pakhan is usually the head of multiple families, but here he seemed to lead only his own while working alongside other family heads, which made the structure feel unclear. Teddy’s quick acceptance of a relationship with Kirill also felt sudden, even though it took him longer to come to terms with Kirill’s business. Despite those bumps, the story was easy to read and understand, and Teddy’s charm paired with the high‑stakes atmosphere kept me engaged throughout. The ending, especially, was satisfying and left me hopeful for their future. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Probably Never by Emerson Beckett 3 of 5 stars

Probably Never

Probably Never by Emerson Beckett
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Axel is focused on his NHL career, Luca is guarded and overwhelmed by school and work. Axel refuses to back off, slowly breaking through Luca’s walls. When Luca loses a job, Axel becomes impossible to avoid — and their resistance turns into a connection neither of them can deny.

This was an enjoyable story with a strong emotional core, but it was also filled with some very improbable events that affected how believable the plot felt. The connection between Axel and Luca was compelling, yet several moments raised major red flags — especially given Luca’s background. After a childhood in foster care where he had no control over his life, Luca treasures his independence, so watching Axel repeatedly make decisions for him (where he should work, what he should eat, how he should spend his time, even trying to change his living situation) while Luca clearly said “I don’t want you to do that” was uncomfortable. Axel also obtained Luca’s phone number and address without permission, which felt like an excessive way to highlight their wealth gap. I also found it odd that a brand‑new player would immediately become team captain, which added to the sense of unreality. Despite all that, the ending was lovely, and I really enjoyed the hopeful look at their future together. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Temporary Alpha Mate by Jax Stuart 4 of 5 stars

His Temporary Alpha Mate

His Temporary Alpha Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The beta sickness offers Sweetwater’s betas a fresh start, but Dalton needs an alpha to complete the change. When his first plan fails, he turns to Larken, whose steady presence becomes both comfort and temptation. Acting as Dalton’s temporary alpha brings them closer, blurring the line between convenience and something real. With outside tensions rising and Dalton fighting old habits, both men must decide if they can build the family Dalton has always longed for.

Dalton and Larken’s deep friendship and simmering attraction were the heart of this story, long before they ever considered forming a bond or becoming true mates. I could really feel Dalton’s desperation to have a child and how that longing shaped his choices and strained his relationships, making his journey especially emotional. As always, the mix of danger and drama surrounding the local avian shifters added tension in the background, keeping the stakes high while the relationship slowly shifted into something real. A heartfelt, engaging read with strong emotions and a bond that felt inevitable from the start. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Gem

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Gem is a control‑focused overachiever with a thriving hockey career and a committed anonymous online D/s relationship. But when his new teammate Luka arrives, Gem finds himself drawn to him in ways he can’t ignore. Luka, devastated by a last‑minute trade, develops feelings for both Gem and his anonymous Dom, Beelz — until he begins to suspect they might be the same man. As emotions build and Luka reaches a breaking point, Gem steps in, forcing both of them to finally reveal the truth and risk their hearts.

Gem and Luka have an undeniable connection, and watching it unfold — even through all the confusion of their anonymous online dynamic colliding with real life — was a lot of fun at first, even if it did start to feel a bit frustrating as the truth dragged out. I always enjoy spending time with the three fruit‑bat shifter brothers, and their interactions with each other and their partners continue to be a highlight. Their support, teasing, and loyalty add so much warmth to the story. Overall, this was easy to read and understand, full of emotion, and built around a relationship that felt fated from the start. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Vetted for Vengeance: A Dark MM Celebrity Romance

Vetted for Vengeance: A Dark MM Celebrity Romance by Charlotte Brice
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rhys is a beloved veterinarian with a public image built on compassion, but when legal avenues fail to stop animal cruelty, he secretly takes justice into his own hands. Noah, stuck working at a grim puppy farm, helps a masked intruder free the dogs — only to discover it’s Rhys and to witness far more than he intended. Their connection quickly turns intense and dangerous, forcing Noah to decide how much of Rhys’s darkness he can accept, and whether loving him means living with blood on his hands.

I loved how naturally Noah fit into Rhys’s life, especially with his gentle focus on the health and wellbeing of the dogs rescued from the puppy farm. That shared compassion became the heart of their connection. Rhys showed his affection in the only ways he truly knew how — by caring for Noah and for the animals Noah cared about — and it made their relationship feel both tender and a little obsessive in the best way. Rhys is a strange, intense man with his OCD routines and his lethal determination to stop animal cruelty, but Noah softens him in ways no one else ever has. Their bond grows out of that mix of darkness and devotion, and it was delightful to watch unfold. The story was full of emotions and feelings from start to finish, and the balance between danger, affection, and moral complexity made it a gripping, satisfying read. This was an MM story with mature content.

The Espresso Shot by M.J. Booth
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tyler has finally been diagnosed but isn’t sure what it means for his future. Starting college in a field his parents don’t value, he just hopes someone will see more in him than his illness. Brandt, a nurse who frequents Tyler’s coffee shop, notices the signs he tries to hide — and soon discovers Tyler is also a Little. As Brandt learns about that world, he realises caring for Tyler feels natural, but Tyler doubts he could ever be a Daddy. They need to figure out whether there’s a dynamic that works for them both, and Brandt hopes Tyler will let him in enough to see he’s more than “the sick kid.”

This story really highlighted how much care Tyler had been missing for most of his life, and how perfectly the Daddy dynamic fit what he needed — not just emotionally, but in helping him manage his health and day‑to‑day life. Brandt was exactly the right man for him: gentle, patient, and never once making Tyler feel ashamed about his finances, his living situation, or the things he struggled with. That respect made their connection feel genuinely healing. I also loved that Brandt wasn’t wealthy or larger‑than‑life; being a nurse made everything feel more grounded and real. The support from the other Daddies added warmth and reassurance, giving Brandt the guidance he needed while Tyler found his footing. The whole book was full of emotions and tender moments, and their growing bond felt honest and deeply earned. A heartfelt, comforting read. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Hayden by Dale Mayer 5 of 5 stars

Hayden

Hayden by Dale Mayer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hayden returns to New York to track down Arlene Cuddy, whose escape reveals her involvement in a much larger global trafficking and blackmail network. When journalist Andrea Galanis becomes a target of the same organization, she turns to Hayden — an old friend and former Navy SEAL — for protection. Together, they uncover a web of corruption tied to elite universities and powerful families, forcing Andrea to confront her past while they fight to save the victims and stay alive long enough to imagine a future together.

This story is packed with danger and tension from the moment Andrea is pulled into a global web of kidnapping, trafficking, and political corruption. The stakes around her are constant and genuinely dramatic, and that sense of threat makes every choice feel razor‑sharp. What I loved most, though, was the simmering passion between Andrea and Hayden — always there beneath the chaos, waiting for a moment when survival wasn’t the only priority. Their dynamic is fantastic: Andrea fierce, stubborn, and determined; Hayden steady, protective, and quietly confident. Together they balance each other perfectly, and their connection feels both inevitable and deeply earned. The emotions throughout are easy to feel and understand, from fear and frustration to longing and hope. A gripping, dramatic read with a relationship that shines even in the darkest moments.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Determined to expose Sevastyan, Victor breaks into his home — only to discover the artist is nothing like he expected. Sevastyan is powerful, amused, and fully aware of Victor’s fixation. Instead of being the hunter, Victor becomes the one trapped, as Sevastyan claims him as a captive muse and makes it clear that Victor will not be leaving.

This is a very dark romance with several uncomfortable themes, so it’s definitely one to approach with care. The story centres on a twisted, shifting obsession — first Victor’s fixation on Sevastyan, and then the far more intense, consuming obsession Sevastyan develops for Victor. Their dynamic is unsettling, messy, and often disturbing, and some of the behaviours and language push into depraved territory. Despite that, I found myself invested. The tension between them, the psychological push‑and‑pull, and the way their obsession reshapes itself kept me turning the pages. It’s a well‑written story that leans fully into its darkness, and while it won’t be for everyone, it delivers exactly the kind of intense, chaotic emotion it promises. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Impossible Elf Mate by Jax Stuart 4 of 5 stars

His Impossible Elf Mate

His Impossible Elf Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tearlach, an elf searching for answers about the beta sickness and the elven fertility crisis, unexpectedly finds Axel — a man who feels like part of his soul. Axel is slowly recovering from the sickness, and Tearlach’s presence brings him comfort, but new revelations shake Axel’s long‑held dreams. As hidden truths emerge and the stakes rise for both elves and shifters, the two must decide whether their love is worth the sacrifices they may have to make to stay together.

This story had such an undeniable connection between Tearlach and Axel, even as they each battled their own struggles. Their bond felt powerful from the start, and I loved how their families stood firmly behind them both — that support made every challenge feel a little less overwhelming. And with the favour of the goddess on their side, it was hard not to believe they were meant to succeed. The raw emotions running through the book were beautifully written, and the growing strength between elves and shifters added a richness to the worldbuilding. I really enjoyed this instalment and the way love, loyalty, and hope wove through every part of their journey. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: The Perfect Blend by MJ Booth 3 of 5 stars

The Perfect Blend

The Perfect Blend by M.J. Booth
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Orion has been on his own since seventeen, exhausted but determined to stay independent. His new job at the coffee shop gives him just enough stability to keep going. Garrett, a Daddy nearing forty and longing for real connection, recognises Orion as the man he went home with weeks earlier and is instantly drawn to him. Orion’s walls are high, but Garrett is patient — and his frequent visits to Shade Grown Coffee make it clear he’s hoping Orion will eventually let him in.

This was such a sweet, gentle story, and Garrett was absolutely perfect for Orion. I loved how supportive and careful he was with him — never pushing, never judging, and especially never making Orion feel embarrassed about his finances or living situation. That level of respect made their relationship feel safe and genuinely nurturing. They settled into their dynamic as naturally as they settled into their kink, with clear communication and a softness that made their connection easy to root for. The whole book was simple to read and understand, with a warm tone that let the emotions shine through. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Under His Rule by Davidson King 5 of 5 stars

Under His Rule

Under His Rule by Davidson King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Prince Julian Davaros is adored as the heir to the Lamdera Islands, but secretly he’s a serial killer known only to his family and bodyguard. When Wynn Carter visits the islands for his thirtieth birthday, he unexpectedly catches Julian’s interest — not as a victim, but as someone Julian wants to claim. Wynn is swept into a glamorous, intoxicating romance, unaware of the darkness beneath it. But when someone targets him to expose Julian’s secrets, the prince’s violent nature erupts. As their lives spiral into chaos, Wynn learns the truth, and Julian must choose between giving everything up… or eliminating the man he’s become obsessed with.

This was a wonderfully dark and compelling story, built around Julian’s obsessive fixation on Wynn — an obsession so intense he even altered the itinerary of a royal tour just to stay close to him. Their connection was unsettling at times but also strangely intimate, especially in the way they helped steady each other. I loved how Julian could calm Wynn’s ADHD‑scattered mind, helping him feel focused instead of clumsy, while Wynn grounded Julian enough to quiet his violent urges or at least limit the damage. The writing made their thoughts and emotions incredibly easy to feel, pulling me right into their twisted, magnetic dynamic. The supporting cast was fantastic too, adding humour, tension, and depth, and I’d love to know more about the rest of the royal family. A dark, addictive read with a pair of characters who shouldn’t work together but absolutely do. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Bonded Omega Mate by Jax Stuart 3 of 5 stars

His Bonded Omega Mate

His Bonded Omega Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Roan hopes for a fresh start in Sweetwater, but staying behind during the beta sickness puts him in danger — and leads him to his fated mate, Hiroshi, who is already emotionally bonded to two betas and wants Roan to join them. Hiroshi is desperate to find his mate before being forced into a dangerous arranged marriage, and Roan seems willing to try their unconventional bond. But when all four attempt to bond, unexpected consequences arise that could change shifter kind forever. This instalment is darker, with more violence and discussions of coerced consent.

This instalment really leans into the unconventional dynamic between fated mates and bonded mates, and I found that part of the story fascinating. Roan was the absolute standout for me — he tried so hard to give everyone what they needed, even when his efforts weren’t appreciated or acknowledged nearly enough. His patience, strength, and willingness to shoulder the emotional weight made him feel like the true hero of the book. Hiroshi, on the other hand, often came across as selfish and spoilt, and there were several moments where I genuinely wished Roan had told him no. Tate’s behaviour didn’t help either, which made some parts harder to enjoy. Large sections of the story focused on the betas and the lingering effects of their illness, and I actually liked how that tied into the wider plot. The kidnappings, political manoeuvring, and shifting alliances added tension and kept things moving. Overall, it was an engaging read with plenty of drama, emotion, and layered relationships — but my struggles with Hiroshi and Tate meant I had to mark it down a bit. This was an MM but sometimes MMM or MMMM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Sullied by Lee Colgin 3 of 5 stars

Sullied: MM Paranormal Romance

Sullied: MM Paranormal Romance by Lee Colgin
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dr. Rupert Martin works in a secret lab creating hybrid vampires, something he regrets once he learns the truth. When SullivanSpecimen 19 — escapes, injured and moments from sunrise, he turns to the only person who ever showed him kindness. Ru takes him in, and as they run from the lab’s reach, danger grows alongside an unexpected attraction. Together, they must decide whether they can destroy the very place that created Sully before it destroys them.

I really liked the way Ru and Sully’s connection began with simple kindness — Ru treating Sully as a person who deserved care rather than a lab specimen. That early respect made their bond feel genuine, and Sully’s childlike delight at every new experience was one of the most charming parts of the story. I did find their shift from patient and caretaker to lovers a little strange at times, and honestly, Sully often seemed to have a stronger emotional connection with Zoe. Still, the story had plenty of feelings throughout, most of them carried beautifully by Sully, who really became the heart of the book. An enjoyable, emotional read with a unique dynamic and a memorable pairing. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: A Tall Order by M.J. Booth 3 of 5 stars

A Tall Order

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Austin is still grieving the loss of his Daddy and has spent years burying his Little side under work. Remington, his Daddy’s best friend, keeps checking in, worried about how much Austin is suppressing. After three years, a visit to the coffee shop finally breaks Austin’s façade, and one night of comfort turns into a whole weekend — leaving them both unsure whether they can return to being just friends or if something deeper has begun.

I really enjoyed the connection between Remington and Austin, especially the way Remington was so determined to help Austin live as his true self again after years of grief and suppression. Their communication was a highlight for me — both men were clear, honest, and intentional about making sure they were compatible not just as Daddy and little, but as partners building a real relationship. I also liked how the story balanced emotional healing with everyday life, though I do wish we’d gotten an update on the coffee shop. There was a moment where it seemed like Trevor wasn’t meeting the owner’s expectations, but it never came up again. Overall, this was an easy, heartfelt read with big emotions and feelings that were simple to understand and feel right along with the characters. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Bruiser by Emmy Sanders 4 of 5 stars

Bruiser

Bruiser by Emmy Sanders
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Trevor enters college focused on studying and building his future business, until a fiery encounter in the library pulls Isaac into his orbit. Isaac’s sharp attitude hides old hurt, but their shared love of poetry and undeniable chemistry slowly breaks down his walls. As they grow closer, Trevor worries that Isaac will pull away when he learns about the adult videos Trevor films on the side. Instead, the revelation sparks an unexpected shared interest, turning their initial clash into a tender, opposites‑at‑first‑glance romance filled with poetry, supportive friends, and the beginnings of Elite 8 Studios.

I really enjoyed the undeniable connection between Trevor and Isaac, especially how their shared love of poetry became the thread that pulled them closer. Trevor giving Isaac the confidence to face his old hurts and finally live the life he wanted was one of my favourite parts of the story. And I loved how Isaac, in turn, was so openly supportive of Trevor’s chosen business and the adult videos he was creating — their trust in each other felt genuine and earned. The emotions and feelings throughout were easy to understand, and both characters came across as wonderfully human in the way they navigated their fears and hopes. It was a little strange that the origins of Elite 8 Studios didn’t appear until book seven, but it was still a sweet, engaging addition to the series. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: His Rejected Alpha Mate by Jax Stuart 4 of 5 stars

His Rejected Alpha Mate

His Rejected Alpha Mate by Jax Stuart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jasper finally reunites with his son in the Sweetwater pack, only to discover his fated mate in Dakota — something he feels too overwhelmed to accept. Dakota, still grieving Cooper, is hurt by the rejection but refuses to give up on the future he glimpses with Jasper. An unexpected pregnancy forces them closer, and when an outside threat targets the pack, Dakota must prove his worth and protect the family he hopes to be part of.

This was an emotional continuation of the series, and I really felt for Jasper as he struggled with his deep‑rooted fear of alphas after years of historic abuse. It made complete sense that accepting his fated mate, Dakota, took time — even if that hesitation was sometimes frustrating. Dakota’s patience and understanding were wonderful to see, and I admired how he kept trying without ever pushing too hard. I also loved how their story was woven through the ongoing journey of Blake and Kade, bringing the families and friendships together in a way that added warmth and depth. The mix of pack bonds, personal healing, and shifting relationships made the emotions throughout easy to feel and understand. The ending was lovely and satisfying, though I did struggle with Jasper at times because his rejection went on longer than I expected. Still, the emotional payoff made the journey worthwhile. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
