Review: Hammer and Hops by Lynn Michaels 4 of 5 stars

Hammer and Hops

Hammer and Hops by Lynn Michaels
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Everett is focused on building his brewery when he meets cheerful Cameron, Foggy Basin’s most beloved resident. Cameron is determined to get the grumpy brewer to relax — and maybe spark something more — but a growing threat in their peaceful town may complicate everything.

This was a great story, full of emotional ups and downs as Everett and Cameron navigated the rocky start of their relationship. Everett’s dream of launching his brewery, and the stress of someone tampering with it, made their journey feel like a rollercoaster, flipping from steady to shaky in all the best ways. There were plenty of clear, heartfelt emotions throughout, and the contrast between Everett’s grumpy determination and Cameron’s bright, easy warmth made their dynamic really engaging. Despite the setbacks, misunderstandings, and pressure surrounding Everett’s work, they managed to pull everything together and earn the happy ending they deserved. A charming, emotional read with a satisfying payoff. This was an MM story with mature content.
