While Dom struggles with the shock of their legal marriage, Bruno uncovers a traitor tied to Dom’s world and faces a painful choice: reveal the truth and hurt the man he loves, or keep the secret and risk everything to hold onto their future.
This was by far the most emotional story in the series, with Bruno at the centre of every moment as he tried to win Dominic’s heart while also investigating the dangerous leak inside the organisation. His determination to protect Dominic — and the wider Torrente family — gave the whole book a powerful mix of love, loyalty, and tension. I loved seeing the other men settled and happy in their relationships, which made the unfolding danger around Gabby and Dexter’s children even more dramatic. The reveal of who was responsible added real suspense, keeping the mystery sharp and engaging. An emotional, dramatic, and deeply felt story, full of danger, devotion, and the fierce love Bruno carried for both Dominic and the family he fought to protect. This was an MM story with mature content.
