Review: Things I Wished We Said by Jacey Davis 5 of 5 stars

Things I Wished We Said

Things I Wished We Said by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Koa never imagined he’d end up married to his best friend, Riot, and helping raise Riot’s seven siblings — even if the marriage is only for practical reasons. What he has imagined, though, is loving Riot in a way he’s never dared to admit. After years of hiding his feelings, keeping the truth to himself is getting harder, and when one secret slips out, the rest begin to unravel. Koa must finally decide whether honesty will cost him his best friend or open the door to the love he’s always wanted.

This was such a beautifully emotional story, and the connection between Koa and Riot is the heart of it. They both love each other deeply but hide it behind years of friendship, responsibility, and fear of losing what they already have. That quiet, aching devotion made their journey incredibly compelling. What truly stood out was the way they pulled together Riot’s seven siblings and created a home overflowing with love, stability, and tenderness. Every emotion — the exhaustion, the hope, the longing, the fierce protectiveness — was so easy to feel and understand through the writing. A heartfelt, intimate story about found family, unspoken love, and two men who finally realise they’ve been each other’s home all along. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Murder & Mayhem by Jacey Davis 5 of 5 stars

Murder & Mayhem

Murder & Mayhem by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dominic has lived in the shadows since he was fifteen, killing first to protect his foster brothers, then to serve his own twisted sense of justice. His life is a cold, detached routine—until Jamie shatters the monotony. Jamie, fierce and broken, is fighting for his brother with a courage that captivates Dominic. Despite knowing that getting close to Jamie risks exposing everything, Dominic finds himself unable to walk away. For the first time, love and protection outweigh the danger, and Dominic is willing to face any consequence to keep Jamie safe.

I loved this dark story of obsession which was full of emotional intensity and moral tension. I loved that the story explored themes of redemption, moral ambiguity, and the pull between violence and vulnerability. The story between the two men was sometimes intense and emotional and at other times broken and fractured. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

Review: Claimed By The Orc Assassin by Jacey Davis 3 of 5 stars

Claimed By The Orc Assassin

Claimed By The Orc Assassin by Jacey Davis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Tanner’s quiet life in Destiny takes a bizarre turn with mysterious disappearances and the arrival of Mahk, an endearingly persistent admirer. Drawn to Mahk’s innocence and odd curiosity, Tanner finds himself unexpectedly attached—until a shocking revelation changes everything. Mahk is actually an orc from another world, and he claims Tanner is his fated mate. Though the idea seems absurd, Tanner can’t shake his growing bond with the being who was once just a harmless stalker.

I enjoyed this story which was different to the previous two as this time home was not on the other side of the portal. Tanner was very accepting of all the strange events but there was no angst or real discussion of them. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Ensnaring Their Rabbit

Ensnaring Their Rabbit by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In a special prison for alpha predator shifters, twins Riven and Reeve have accepted their fate. The prison holds quarterly hunts where omega prey shifters are released for the alphas. However, when the scent of the newest prey, Brynn, reaches Riven and Reeve, they instantly recognize him as their mate. Determined to protect Brynn, the twins are ready to face anyone who tries to take him away.

I enjoyed this story with the two Alphas who found their mate in the most brutal circumstances. Thankfully a powerful ally was able to help them all to be together and achieve happiness. Lots of emotions and feelings as the three men met each other. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse.

Forever Mine

Forever Mine by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jay had been told so many times that he was a failure, trash, a loser and unlovable that he had started to believe it. Then Dakota came along. He was everything Jay wasn't. Smart. Educated. He had a big family who loved and cared about him. He should have run the other way when he saw Jay, but he didn’t, weaving his way into his soul until he was a part of him, and he couldn’t breathe without him. Then someone tried to come in and destroy all that Dakota and Jay had been building. He thought he could come in and claim the one person who made Jay feel whole. To Jay Dakota Kelly was forever mine and God help anyone who tried to touch him.

I loved this story with the tormented Jay and determined Dakota who were both obsessed with each other and the man who decided that Dakota was his and that he would take him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was a very dramatic story with lots of associated emotions and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: The Forbidden Omega by Jacey Davis 3 of 5 stars

The Forbidden Omega

The Forbidden Omega by Jacey Davis
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Luke had a bi-awakening in his 50s which was a shock. Joel came out of nowhere and rocked his foundations. As a widower too, he understood Luke in a way no one else ever has. Being with Joel wasn't only his first time with a man, he's also polyamorous, and kinky. Luke thought meeting his other boyfriend would make it easier for him. But, never in a million years did he expect his boyfriend to be Cameron, his son’s best friend. After Cameron moved to New York and became a make-up artist, it took a lot to surprise him. Those Broadway types are wild! Joel's other man, his best friend's sexy, and very straight dad, Luke, was the curveball he never imagined. Joel cared about him a lot. Why wouldn't he? He's one of the best men he's ever met!  After Joel lost his soul mate, his late husband, he never thought he'd find love again. Luke and Cameron bulldozed their way into his life, and he found himself falling head over heels for them both. Once we got over the shock of who Cameron was to Luke, it became obvious just how good we were together. All three of us together, not just Joel with each of them. On paper, they had to look strange, but with all the recent talk of fated mates and all the other changes in the world, he had to wonder, could Cameron and Luke be his?

I enjoyed this story with the three men who were in a relationship with each other. There were some negotiations as the two different relationships became one as it changed to include the three of them. I enjoyed the fact that Luke's children were so open minded. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content.

Review: Enchanted Hearts by Jacey Davis 5 of 5 stsrs

Enchanted Hearts

Enchanted Hearts by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It wasn’t good to stand out in Lyndon's world. Ever since the existence of parahumans was discovered a few years back, humans made it their mission to make their lives as difficult as possible. That is why he preferred his little cabin in the middle of the woods. There were plenty of plants to work my Earth magic, and I was far enough away from society, and my meddling coven, to stay under the radar. Then one day, a portal opens up in the middle of his vegetable patch and out walks Darcy. Darcy couldn’t blend in, even if he wanted to, his reptilian appearance making it impossible. He’s loud, he’s curious about everything, and he doesn’t belong in Lyndon's world. All he needs to do is figure out a way to reopen the portal and get him back to his world. The only problem? Darcy is his soul mate.

I really enjoyed this story with the shifter who arrived via a portal and a witch with a cool skill who was determined to stick to his solitary life and resist fate. I felt sorry for Darcy who was stuck with such a reluctant mate so was thrilled when his attitude changed. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: On The Run by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

On The Run

On The Run by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Aiden: has spent his whole life running. He doesn’t know how to do anything else. He doesn’t know stability, how to trust even how to love. He's never been able to truly call somewhere home. Any time he let his guard down, even just the tiniest bit, it ended up biting me and causing him to run again. Tired of running, maybe, just maybe this little town in Colorado will be the place he can settle down. Since the moment Max walked into the coffee shop with his son, the man has somehow managed to get his hooks in Aiden. And the more he gets to know the two of them, the harder it is to keep up the walls but he knows if he lets Max in he’ll be his downfall, but he might be worth it. Ever since Max discovered he had a son a year ago, he’s become his world. My sole focus has been on him and proving that he can be the father he deserves. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But the guy who works at the café intrigues him. When his son takes matters into his own hands and tries to set Aiden and Max up, of course, he can’t say no. But Aiden is hiding secrets on top of secrets, and his walls have walls so thick, he's not sure if he can break them. Aiden makes him want to try though. Then something happens that changes everything, and Max must make a decision. Fight for Aiden with everything he has or let him go.

I loved this story. Aiden was such a tortured soul and Max and his son were his home (after his Pops) and so this had all of the feels as well as the danger and drama. I loved the cross-over to the RAM Securities series. It was easy to sense all of the thoughts and emotions of the characters so be prepared for tears. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Saving His Sunshine by Jacey Davis 5 of 5 stars

Saving His Sunshine

Saving His Sunshine by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Aspen's world was falling apart. The life he worked so hard to build over the last four years was crumbling down around him; and the hits just kept on coming. It would be so easy for him to give up and to give into the pain that was threatening to overwhelm him more and more as the days passed. His only lifeline was Kai. He was the reason Aspen kept waking up each morning; kept fighting. Despite everything, their feelings for each other continued to grow stronger each day. Sure, there were a few kinks they needed to work out (literally), but as the dangers of his past came back to haunt him, he clung to Kai and the love they had for each other. Because at the end of the day, that was the only thing standing in the way of total destruction.

OMG there was so much happening around Aspen and Kai and so many twists and turns that at times it was hard not to drown in all of the emotions swirling around them. I couldn't help the tears that fell during their darkest moments as the evil brothers tried to take their revenge. Easy to read, feel and understand this book will draw you in. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

Review: Surviving the Storm by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

Surviving the Storm

Surviving the Storm by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Former Marine Kai Rinaldi: started RAM Securities with best friend Martinez to specialise in the jobs that the government and law enforcement couldn’t, or wouldn’t take on. It wasn’t an easy road, but now we’re the first stop for any person or any government that needed a job done efficiently and discreetly. But even with everything I’ve seen in my life, nothing prepared him for the day he met Aspen Malling. After years of living under the brutal control of his father and uncle, he and his siblings were free. His younger brother and sister actually had a chance at a normal life, and the older kids were adjusting. Mostly. At least he had a job he loved as a technical expert with RAM and control over his own life. Sure, his growing feelings for Kai were unrequited, but that was fine. Then, everything changed, new information tied one of their cases to his past, shattering the illusion of safety. But as the danger grew, so did his feelings for Kai. At least they aren’t as one-sided as he initially thought. With so many obstacles standing in their way, not to mention the danger lurking just around the corner, they have to decide if it was worth pursuing a relationship, or were they better off going their separate ways?

I loved this story. The scene was set well and I felt real empathy for Aspen and his siblings. I loved the drama in the story around the abduction and trafficking. Aspen was adorable and I loved his eventual relationship with Kai. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: The Surrogate Omega Box Set by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

The Surrogate Omega Box Set

The Surrogate Omega Box Set by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lake Common has had a lot of changes recently including his adorable baby niece but he is also coming to terms with his lack of stability in his life. Knowing that he also has the omega gene he offers to help some friends by being their surrogate. He never thought one of his changes would be to fall in love. When Lake met Evander he felt an instant connection and when introduced to his best friend Logan sparks fly between the three men. Life is not plain sailing between work schedules, the surrogacy and missions they have to work hard for their happiness.

I really enjoyed this story with the three brave men. Lake was inspiring as he handled the surrogacy and his highly stressful job. Ev was a giant as he supported his men. I feel these three men were very like an alpha, a beta and an omega. Lots of emotions, feelings and empathy this story. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

Review: The Unexpected Omega by Jacey Davis 3 of 5 stars

The Unexpected Omega

The Unexpected Omega by Jacey Davis
My rating: 3 of 5 star

It had been nearly 150 years since the last Omega. Nearly 150 since the last male pregnancy, since the last time anyone experienced any of the genetic traits that made a person an Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Now, everyone was just human, and any knowledge of the past came from stories passed down from generation to generation or history books. All River Simmon wanted to do was put his bad day behind him and have some fun. Cooper Covington had similar ideas. After his best friend convinced him to go out to the bar after a breakup, all he wanted to do was enjoy himself and forget his troubles. From the moment the two men laid eyes on each other they felt a connection. Neither man entered the bar planning on a hookup, but the spark between them was just too hard to resist. What they hadn’t understood at the time was something that was just supposed to be a one-night stand would end up connecting the two men forever, in more ways than one.

This was a good introduction to the series and River/Cooper's relationship. I loved that the prejudices and biggotry were well described as they experienced if from the public as well as medical professionals. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story set in the omegaverse including mpreg.

Review: Forever Always by Jacey Davis 5 of 5 stars

Forever Always

Forever Always by Jacey Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Becks knew step-brother Riley was his to take care of as soon as his Dad introduced him to him and his mother. For a while everything was perfect but then it all changed. Protecting him became even more important as Becks was the only thing between Riley and his Dad and the only person keeping a roof over his head or feeding him. When they are both grown men Becks would still do anything for Riley and gladly get his hands dirty or cross a line to keep him clean. It was still Becks and Riley against the world - Forever Always.

This was a dark story with the two step-brothers navigating life and Becks coping with some dreadful things before a suitable age to protect Riley. I loved their relationship and the love between the two of them even though I could see that it would upset some people. They had to navigate some really hard time and yet they never lost their love for each other. This will cause some tears as you experience some of their hard times and you will cry when you come to realise what Beck's childhood was like. Lots of feelings and emotions in this story. This was an MM story with mature content. Please read the content warnings.

Review: Arranged Salvation by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

Arranged Salvation (Arranging Love #3)

Arranged Salvation by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Omega Bastion will do anything to protect his child and escape his abusive husband so he makes a terrifying call and even pretends to have a fated mate called Arden, an alpha unlike any he's known. Arden's protective instincts for Bastion are fierce and he'll stop at nothing to keep him safe. But as tensions rise in the political climate, their love faces its toughest challenges yet.

This was very dramatic and there was a lot of danger and drama in this story as the differences built and sides were chosen. I loved that they had a connection it just wasn't interpreted correctly at the start. I was heartbroken by what happened with some of the characters in this story and I hope they make a full recovery in the next book. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

Review: A Holiday Arrangement by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

A Holiday Arrangement (Arranging Love #2)

A Holiday Arrangement by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Emerson disliked crowds and High-society social events but Orion Strongfire had approached him to assist him in recruiting alphas to his cause in fighting for omega rights so they couldn't be avoided. A feisty omega captured his attention across the dancefloor which was bad as he didn't have relationships or intend to claim a mate. Then Jett Strongfire cornered him and claimed he was his fated mate and he was nearly impossible to resist. Jett ran away from his aunt which was the right thing to do as his brother and his husband had been kind and showed him a whole new world of possibilities. Jett's first heat is coming soon and although Orion might be reluctant to approve a mate for him he doesn't want to be a burden on them. In his wildest dreams, he never expected someone like Emerson to be the alpha he’d want. He was significantly older, stiff, strict and had walls around his walls. And yet Jett was drawn to him in a way that was impossible to ignore. Emerson was meant to be his alpha. Now he just needs to convince him.

I enjoyed this story with the fated mates where alpha Emerson was so affected by historical events in his life that he repeatedly refused to accept omega Jett as his mate. I was heartbroken for Jett especially as he had allowed Emerson to use his body twice. I loved the young and friendly alpha who became a friend to Jett even though he was dramatically cast aside later in the story. Emerson deserved a spanking from Orion for his treatment of his half-brother. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a D/s dynamic including spanking set in the Omegaverse.

Review: Arranged by Fate by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

Arranged by Fate (Arranging Love #1)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Orion Strongfire wasn't wanting to get married but after his father almost destroyed everything after several scandals he had to do this to protect the rest of his family. Omega Lyric Inwood didn't want to get married and after the reputation that Orion's father had he was even less keen on it but as an omega, he had no power and so had to agree to protect his family. Neither had believed in fated mates but as soon as Orion's lips brushed against Lyrics he would burn down the world before letting him go and it was impossible to deny the connection as for better or worse, it seemed fate destined Lyric to belong to Orion.

I enjoyed this book which captured me from the start. I loved that they were both reluctant but unable to avoid the marriage to protect their families even though it quickly changed into something else. The link between Orion and Lyric was just so special and I loved that in private they were able to bypass the social norms that an omega was lesser than an alpha and unable to be responsible or make decisions. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic with domestic discipline mostly via spanking and is set in the Omegaverse where Mpreg is possible although not in this story. Please read the content warning at the beginning of the book for a full list of triggers and kinks and skip is necessary.

** Please note this was originally featured in the anthology, Tying the Knot. It has been expanded into a full-length novel with over 30k additional content added.
