My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Dustin, a caring doctor, helps Charles’s sick niece and sparks an unexpected connection. As their romance grows, interference from Charles’s mother and Dustin’s boss threatens both their relationship and the family they hope to build.
This was such an emotional and heartfelt read. I loved watching Dustin and Charles's relationship deepen as they cared for little Anna together, creating a beautiful sense of family along the way. Their journey wasn't easy, especially as they faced homophobic prejudice and opposition from those around them, which made their bond feel even more meaningful. Full of warmth, love, and plenty of emotional moments, this story kept me invested in both the romance and the family they were building. A touching and rewarding read. This was an MM story with mature content.
