Silas Starling is called home and forced to face the feelings he once ran from. A visit to Hidden Desires leads him to Ziggy, a snake‑shifter omega he’s instantly drawn to — and the shock doubles when Ziggy turns out to be his new PA. They try to keep things professional until Ziggy suggests a private, no‑strings arrangement that quickly becomes complicated. A revelation from Silas’s brother shakes his already fragile emotions, and after making a painful mistake, Silas gathers the whole family and PA crew at his ranch. With just one week, he hopes to prove to Ziggy how he truly feels.
The undeniable pull between Silas and Ziggy runs through the whole story, even while Silas does everything he can to protect his heart. I loved how his Popi and Dad stepped in to help untangle the mess between them — their involvement added warmth, humour, and a real sense of family support. The reversal of their traditional roles was another highlight, giving their dynamic a fresh and engaging twist. It was easy to read and understand, though I’ll admit there were moments when I wanted to bang their heads together because they were both so stubborn. Still, the emotions came through clearly, making their journey satisfying to follow. This was an MM story with mature content and was set in the omegaverse.
