Ernie meets the shy, gentle alpha Reuben on a Bigfoot trip and quickly realises he’s the one. Reuben, who’s spent his life keeping people at a distance because of social anxiety, falls just as hard for Ernie’s patience and charm. They build a quiet life together, but when things go wrong and Ernie needs support, Reuben chooses to face his fears — even a whole crowd of Wilsons — to stand by him. Together, they prove they can handle anything and build a perfectly imperfect family of their own.
This story is a lovely example of love conquering all. I adored watching Reuben face his social anxiety head‑on so he could be there for Ernie, and then seeing Ernie turn around and support Reuben’s family just as fiercely. Their growth felt genuine, and every challenge they faced only tightened their bond and deepened the love between them. There are so many emotions and feelings woven through the story, all easy to understand and connect with, making their journey both heartfelt and deeply satisfying. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
