Review: Loving My Omega by C.W. Gray 4 of 5 stars

Loving My Omega

Loving My Omega by C.W. Gray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sam and Teague have been best friends for years, but being single at the same time finally forces them to face the feelings they’ve both been avoiding. After a breakup, Sam moves back to Hobson Hills to care for his great‑aunt and slowly builds a new life — one that makes him realise how much he misses Teague. Teague, expecting Sam to return to Seattle, has to decide what he’s willing to do to keep the most important person in his life close. Together, they discover they’re better side by side… but now they have to decide if they’re meant to stay friends or become something more.

Sam and Teague have always loved each other, but it takes time — and a lot of emotions — for them to realise that what they share is far deeper than friendship. Teague really is a Dr Doolittle‑type, and Sam has that quiet “people whisperer” energy, so together they make an incredible team as their bond shifts into something more. The story is full of feelings as they navigate that transition, helped (and occasionally pushed) by the wonderfully nosy residents of Hobson Hills. And of course, Gramps manages to be right at the centre of the happy ending, just as he should be. A warm, heartfelt friends‑to‑lovers romance with plenty of emotion and community charm. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
