Fernando, an omega desperate for a fresh start, heads off for spring break hoping to escape the chaos his life has become. Instead, he meets Walker Jones, an alpha who’s spent his life feeling alone until the military gave him purpose. Their connection is immediate, and together they start dreaming of a future built on stability, love, and family. But when those plans fall apart, Fernando and Walker must lean on the people around them and rebuild a new vision for their lives. In the end, they teach each other what joy, belonging, and real love can look like.
Fernando and Walker form a connection almost instantly, but what I really loved was how they kept building it — staying in touch, talking regularly over video, and choosing each other long before they were in the same place again. Their relationship felt steady and intentional in a way that really worked for me. Both men are welcomed with open arms by the residents of Hobson Hills, and the Wilson family immediately deciding to “adopt” Walker was such a perfect, heartwarming touch. The whole story is easy to read and understand, with a lovely balance of humour — especially the Bigfoot festival and the pranks, which genuinely made me smile. A warm, hopeful romance with community charm and a wonderful ending that left me happy for them both. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
