I loved this story with an abused Shay who did everything that he could to protect his son Lucas from his father. The in-laws were unbelievable in their blindness and tolerance of what was happening. There is some powerful writing at times and you will cry when you feel everything for Shay, Lucas and Bennett. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
