Review: Choose Me by Beck Grey 4 of 5 stars

Choose Me (Love in The Pacific Northwest, #3)

Choose Me by Beck Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jules Evans has been in love with his brother's best friend since he was twelve. He suffered from social anxiety and which means his brother Stef is overprotective and that means he can't tell Eric how he feels for fear it would destroy their friendship. For years Eric thought Jules was a sweet kid who always beat him at Mario Kart and then he accidentally admits that he's in love with Eric and then doesn't remember saying anything but since then all Eric thinks about is kissing him. If it was anyone else he would have spoken to him but he is Stef's little brother who made it clear to me that Jules is off-limits. Can he convince them both that he is the right man for Jules?

I really enjoyed this story with the politics of families and people being off-limits, the undeniable attraction and how it led to discoveries about them both. They were such a sweet couple and I loved the way that Eric was so protective of Jules, but Jules was actually protective of Eric too. A sweet story and such a lovely affectionate name Eric used for Jules! Easy to read, feel and understand I loved the ending that they were firmly together as a couple. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Embrace Me by Beck Grey 4 of 5 stars

Embrace Me (Love in the Pacific Northwest, #2)

Embrace Me by Beck Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tadhg returned home to Seattle after a nasty breakup with a manipulative ex to focus on his career as an architect. He has some challenges with that as he is Deaf and as much as his equally driven colleague Quinn MacDougall tries, can he really understand what it is like and live as a deaf person when he can hear?

I really enjoyed this story as it highlighted some important issues - the first being how hard it is in the real world when you are deaf, the second how hard it is in a relationship when one partner has a disability and the third how demanding families can be and that you need to stand up for yourself and your partner. This was sensitively written and told. I loved their relationship and their discussions of important subjects. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Roping Their Virginby J.L. Beck by Syndi Burns by Cyndi Faria 3 of 5 stars

Roping Their Virgin (Cowboy Billionaires Duet #1)Roping Their Virgin by J.L. Beck by

She's been away for years training to be a veterinarian, but Maddie Brown's goal on her return home is to collect sexy step-brothers and twins Cole and Warren Pierce and return back to Virginia with them to start A perfect life together. The guys are up for the challenge, but the one complication is Maddie is a virgin. But she has it all figured out - she wants to gift it to them together at the same time. Whilst many say you can't love more than one person at the same time, Maddie's heart has other ideas. How will they get on together?

This story had a few dramatic twists in the story but everything seems to have worked out successfully. I enjoyed the dramatic moments which made it more of a story and less a simple direct route to the desired result for Maddie. Easy to understand and read. Contains explicit sexual content.
