Review: Auctioned to the Cowboy by Hope Ford 3 of 5 stars

Auctioned to the Cowboy

Auctioned to the Cowboy by Hope Ford
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sassy Reid has been in love with Cole Rogers from the next-door ranch next door for as long as she can remember just for his hard work, heart and protectiveness towards her. But it seems as if all he can see when he looks at her is the tomboy working her Dad's ranch. When the ranch is in financial danger she signs up to sell the only thing she has of worth - her virginity via a one-of-a-kind auction house. Then at the auction, Cole is the winning bid and she finally gets the man of her dreams only for him to be too much of a gentleman to claim his prize. So now she needs to save him and get him to finally see her for what she is as they definitely belong together.

It was a nice light read we followed the story of Sassy trying to save her father's ranch while Cole was determined to have her for himself. I have no idea if he would have actually married her eventually or if the auction was a great way to escalate things to give him a push. Sassy lived up to her name and was certainly sassy in nature. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content.

Review: Auctioned to the Lumberjack by Hope Ford 3 of 5 stars

Auctioned to the Lumberjack (Highest Bidder)

Auctioned to the Lumberjack by Hope Ford

Nicole and Ethan and deeply in love until he has an accident which causes him to dump her to give her a chance at happiness with someone else. Finally, she takes matters into her own hands and forces his hand by giving herself up for auction gambling that he will not let anyone else buy her. Will her gamble pay off?

This was definitely different to the other two books in the series and that was good because it needed to not become so formulaic. I liked the concept but I did lose attention at times due to the way the characters were behaving. The bother played a major role in the story but I don't think he got any credit for it which was a shame. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.
