The former leader of the Italian crime family for the Bay Area was Giorgio “George” Greco before he retired. He was now living on his own after his wife had died in childbirth and his children were grown so he was ready to explore a more normal life. Fresh out of college and ready to prove himself to his Russian crime family in San Francisco, Vasily “Basil” Kiselov has gone on the hunt for an enemy but that enemy is George and when he tries he ends up being held captive. As part of that captivity, George becomes Basil's Daddy and they explore some more extreme sexual options which poses the question Is it really kidnapping and torture if they both get turned on by it? When it is the end of their time together there is a problem - George doesn't want to let go of the boy so easily.

I enjoyed this dark story where an assassination attempt becomes the start of a more extreme Daddy/boy relationship which neither wants to walk away from. I loved the way that their relationship started with the whole training and stalking followed by the botched attempt and then the negotiation for the punishment. I loved the way that they both were without each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

I enjoyed this story with the poor abused Z who really had tied himself to a bad person who was masquerading as a Dom and the kind Christian who was transfixed by Z as soon as he saw him with his Corgi. I loved the primal play and the involvement of Z's drag queen friend who was just a complete hero at times. The way that the BDSM community came together to help Z as soon as they realised what was happening to him was very touching. Easy to read, feel and understand I had a huge amount of empathy with Z. This is an M/Mx story with mature content around a BDSM-like D/s relationship with pet play.

I enjoyed this story with the promiscuous musician and the steady architect who had plenty of BSDM skills in his pocket. I loved that he was in love with Marcos and it was just a case of when would Marcos realise. There was a moment when I just wanted to shake Marcos and hug Sam while giving him tissues and chocolate. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story with mature content is a BDDM-like DDLB relationship with lots of edging.

They are still together after five years, but they have never been able to spend a Christmas together due to his job and this year he needs him more than ever. Dylan is in the Marines and he misses his boy this year after not seeing him in over a year but he has a surprise for him. They have spent more time apart than together in their relationship, but he plans to change that. Unfortunately, his arrival turns into a rescue mission.

I enjoyed this story which was quite like the film Die Hard and had a Marine determined to save his boy and as many other people as he could. Easy to read and understand, this was a fun read to get you into the Christmas spirit. There is mature MM content in this BSDM-like D/s story between a Dom and his middle (so more lollipops and some spanking with only light age play). This novella is part of the A Little Christmas series where the stories are all stand-alone and can be read in any order.
