Review: This Could Work by Trish Edmisten by Trish Edmisten

This Could Work (Nice Ink #5)

This Could Work by Trish Edmisten
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Damian Bishop had thought he was in love once but was wrong and so he is done with men and so concentrates on his good job, great friends and of course his cat. Fireman Kiel Nice has decided that he won't settle for one man when he can have any man that he wants. Then their friends and family have other plans for them and they are thrown together so many times that their chemistry is impossible to ignore. Maybe it is worth the chance to see where this goes?

There were certainly plenty of bumps in their roads to finding togetherness, but I did love that these two were able to find their own HEA together - and one that they definitely deserved. I loved the chemistry between them as well as the way that their relationship developed into something quite deep. It was both a joy that the last Nice brother found a HEA and very sad that this great series had come to the end. This is an MM book and it contains mature content.

Review: Games We Play by Trish Edmisten 4 of 5 stars

Games We Play (Nice Ink #4)

Games We Play by Trish Edmisten
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Xavier Owens is a part owner of the tattoo business and has plenty of friends and no shortage of willing partners in the bedroom and so has everything that he needs. Just one thing is missing - someone to share his kink with him and he can't see that happening as the last time he let someone into that part of this life he was left with a bruised ego and broken heart. His ego and heart are long mended but he is not interested in falling in love again. Then sweet and shy Oliver Nice draws Xavier to him like a moth to a flame - all he can do is hope that this time he doesn't get burned.

I really enjoyed this story with yet another of the guys at the tattoo shop being drawn into a relationship with one of the Nice brothers. I loved the way that whilst X was the strong one as per their kink, actually, Oliver was the really strong one when it came to real life in the way that he was able to take control and care when it was needed. This story was definitely addictive and I couldn't put it down until it had finished (which was in some ways a disappointment). Easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with very mature content in places.

Review: Moved by You by Trish Edmisten 4 of 5 stars

Moved by You (Nice Ink #3)

Moved by You by Trish Edmisten
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tattooist Cooper Mitchell has silver hair and a dressed-up small dog and so most guys think that even though he is sassy that he prefers the bottom - but that is completely untrue. When Roger Nice sees him he knows that Cooper is everything that he wants but can he also be the Dom that he needs or is it too much to ask for? Roger doesn't think so, at least he hopes not, but will Cooper agree?

I loved this story with Roger's kink, Cooper's acceptance of it and the way he accepted it for him. Then there was the side story of the family drama for Cooper and the way that Roger and his family went to bat for him. I love the Nice parents and especially Mum - she is just so special and so accepting. Easy to read and understand. I could definitely empathise with all of the characters. Contains an MM relationship and mature content of a BDSM nature.

Review: Ride or Die by Trish Edmisten 4 of 5 stars

Ride or Die (Nice Ink #2)

Ride or Die by Trish Edmisten

Tattoo artist Flynn Murphy doesn't need a man even though it is obvious that confident cop Derek Nice is interested. Long ago he learnt that trusting those who are supposed to do the right thing is a big mistake and he is not prepared to give anyone else a chance even the sexy cop. Derek is not worried that Flynn is not getting him close yet - he just needs to prove to him how great they can be together and he will not stop until he is successful.

I loved this story which took a damaged man who was partially fixed and made him complete in the best way possible - by replacing all of his hurt with love and understanding. I loved the way that Derek was patient and let Flynn take his own time by not rushing him. It was clear and easy to read as well as a joy to read them find such happiness together. Please note this story contains themes of child abuse and a physical MM relationship.

Review: Going Inksane by Trish Edmisten 4 of 5 stars

Going Inksane (Nice Ink, #1)

Going Inksane by Trish Edmisten
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

For five years Heath Mitchell has steered clear of relationships and instead concentrated on running his successful tattoo shop. Then as he approaches thirty he realises that he is actually lonely. Then Ned Nice comes into his shop and there is an instant attraction between them but a dark secret from Ned's past keeps him too scared to get close to Heath but he is not the only one with a big secret and Heath's is probably much more of a deal-breaker. Can they both move on from their past or is it insane to even try?

I really enjoyed this story which had a nice concentration on emotions and prior experiences. I loved the entire concept of the Nice family and their very supportive parents. I loved the mature attitude and approach that Ned and Heath had to their relationship, potential problems and working them out. A nice sensitive book that was easy to read, feel and understand. This is a book for mature readers only containing references to a sexual assault and as well as a description of an M:M sexual relationship.
