Levi Blackburn tries to rein back his younger brother Milo in order to not break the strict government regulations but unknown to him Milo has been working on a secret project to get him a surprise present - Dani - who is a woman from the past that Levi has been fixated on for as long as he can remember. What he never anticipated was that she would arrive with a snarky talking cat. Can Dani adapt to the future and will Levi forgive Milo for this deliberate breaking of the strict rules?
This is a sweet novella that was a pleasant read. I'm hoping there is more detail about some of the restrictions in the future as the series progresses. Reasonably well written it was easy to understand and follow what was happening. An enjoyable introduction to the series.
