Wolf shifter Olivia Kilbride is sassy and has a fiery temper but when her mate comes back from the dead nothing is going to stop her. Dragon Guard Angus has been imprisoned and tortured for over a century and when he finally escapes, he might be near death but he can sense his mate nearby and so tries his hardest to make sure he is found and saved. Only by working together can he survive and they can reunite him with his brethren.
I loved this story and the dynamic between Olivia and Angus as they worked on survival as well as their relationship. I did find her denial and the lengths she went to hide what was happening a bit silly, although the actual story between the two of them was very sweet. Well written is was very enjoyable.
