A great value collection of four books that are the first in a collection of shifter series that are related but not around the same location. Separate book reviews are listed here:

#1 Fierce Wanderer - 3*
Hera Watterson is fleeing from her small hometown into the Sierras in order to get hold of the evidence she is taking to Reno. The problem is, fleeing is not easy when it involves her ex-fiance who is a drug dealer - and more importantly the chief of police. When her car's radiator overheats a guy with strange eyes stops to help her and that causes her to overheat too! Mountain lion shifter Blake Fournier is heading back to his family's ranch for a couple of days when he finds a gorgeous woman at the side of the road with car trouble. He is intrigued as to why she is on the run - especially when his lion only wants to run straight to her heart. Can they escape and can she get the evidence where it is needed?

This was a dramatic story where they had to get to know each other rapidly as well as escaping the evil ex-fiance and his allies. I liked the way that Blake was able to finally ensure that she was free and that they were able to work out that they were destined to stay together. Well written and easy to read and understand. I found it was a nice story but a little brief in the decision that Hera made about their future. Contains explicit sexual content.

#2 Savage Yearning -4*
Laura Vidal is a mountain lion shifter and has two choices - leave the territory to find a mate or become a guardian of the pride. As she loves the area and doesn't want to leave her home she resolves to become a guardian - even if the training is rigorous and bruising - at least it keeps her busy so she stops thinking about and seeing Dristan as he rocked her world during a one-night stand some years ago and she just cannot forget him. Shifter Dristan Rhees cannot get over nor forget the girl who stole his heart after a passionate one-night stand. Although she appears to not give him the time of day, when vampires invade their territory there are forced to work together which means they have to confront the desire that is still there and consumes them.

I really enjoyed this novella which had all of the necessary ingredients of shifters, danger, unstoppable love and lots of passion. Well written and easy to read and understand it was a fun read. Contains some explicit sexual content.

#3 Wild Homecoming - 4*
Summer Grieb is enjoying being single after her ex stole her savings, credit information and is now leaving her to cope with debt collectors. She does, however, get on well with her online friend Jackson and they swap messages nearly every day. She feels he is safe because he is always on the road and so they are never likely to ever meet for real. Mountain lion shifter Jackson Jaynes is willing to risk everything in order to return to the Dark Pines territory and meet the woman who sends him all the funny messages. But when his return sparks a new wave of violence, he'll have to fight it out or leave home again in order to keep Summer safe.

I liked this story which had a lot of danger and drama in places mixed with some really sweet moments between Summer and Jackson. I loved the way that Jackson was able to make sure that Summer was safe and that he was able to turn around a situation so that adversary became someone that had the potential for friendship. I thought the development of the relationship between Summer and Jackson was quite sweet and that it was suitably slow even if it moved fast as soon as they met in person. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.

#4 Ruthless Misfit - 4*
Erena is a fox shifter and having made a bad decision about trusting a man she is back at the Rock Creek Clan. Her past mistakes appear to have been forgiven but her position feels tenuous, which is made worse when a sexy misfit arrives who gets under her skin. Mountain lion shifter Matt returns home to the Rock Creek Clan with a huge secret but he then meets the woman of his dreams even though Erena seems to have a chip on her shoulder giving him a dilemma - how does he prove himself to a woman with trust issues? He really has to figure something out, because, between smooth-talking and ulterior motives, he’s in danger of losing his mate before he ever gets a chance with her. Can he sort everything out and end up with Erena at the end?

This was a lovely story that had some nice twists with Matt's unique ability for lying as well as her trust issues it was always going to be a rocky ride on the path of true love. I enjoyed the camaraderie or the pack members and how there were some misunderstandings on all sorts of things that weren't between Erena and Matt too. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.
