Review: Eton's Escape by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Eton's Escape (Bullard's Battle #3)Eton's Escape by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eton travels to Switzerland to chase down the next part of the puzzle of who is threatening Bullard's organisation and downed their plane mid-journey and meets Garret there who is barely recovered but raring to go. The intel leads them to a small village and on the way there Eton comes across a woman who is in some distress on the side of the road and feels compelled to offer help. Sammy lives a quiet life working with and helping her ageing architect father, she is surprised that she was offered help for a flat tyre. So when she needs help she willing to go to Eton when she needs a little help. However, she then finds that he is the reason that she is in trouble however his troubles are much bigger. Can they both get out of this nightmare and get to somewhere safe and sound before it is too late?

This was definitely a rollercoaster of a story with lots of drama, danger, twists and turns as Eton, Garrett and Sammy all had to roll with the punches and take leaps of faith at times as they got further and further into the mysteries of who and why was Bullard and the team being targetted. I loved the way that the relationship between Eton and Sammy developed and how she was a woman with her own mind and was not necessarily going to do what she was told. Well written, easy to understand and read. Contains a little sexual content at the end of the story.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
