Young journalist and sub Lyle is investigating a corrupt cop and meets Dom and mafia mastermind Antonio Sorrento when he saves him from some unwanted attention and then takes him home for protection. Determined to continue working on his story Antonio is also looking into the same dirty cop as he has been harassing him. Antonio is razor-sharp, sexy as hell, and has desires that push Lyle way out of his comfort zone. When the chemistry between them becomes impossible to ignore, they have to act upon it. Lyle needs a Deadly Savior, but will Antonio be the one to save him?
This was a good mafia story with the strong and controlled Antonio breaking all of his rules to be with Lyle (who he appears unable to resist). Danger, drama and some violence as the story develops. Emotions and feelings around jobs, each other and friends are central to this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
