I enjoyed this story although Tommy was a brat at times which did not endear me to him as it added to him being very selfish. On both sides their love was a strange form of love. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was a MM story with mature content and a BDSM=like DDLB dynamic.

Determined to continue working on his story Antonio is also looking into the same dirty cop as he has been harassing him. Antonio is razor-sharp, sexy as hell, and has desires that push Lyle way out of his comfort zone. When the chemistry between them becomes impossible to ignore, they have to act upon it. Lyle needs a Deadly Savior, but will Antonio be the one to save him?

This was a good mafia story with the strong and controlled Antonio breaking all of his rules to be with Lyle (who he appears unable to resist). Danger, drama and some violence as the story develops. Emotions and feelings around jobs, each other and friends are central to this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Damian Sorrento is a mafia hitman and Jake is a kitchen hand at his restaurant. The head chef picks on everyone, especially Jake, so he decides to take revenge, but Damian catches him. Jake could have been killed instead, Damian wants him to do his every bidding and take his punishment no questions asked. But the one thing I won’t do is truly submit to Damian – even if he does turn me on more than any man I’ve ever met. Suddenly Jake is involved in a world of guns, murder, and the most possessive and dominant mafia men in the city. Jake's life is in the hands of the one man who he knows could kill him without a second thought. Damian Sorrento is his Deadly Protector and Jake might have no other choice but to get down on my knees and serve him.

This was a lighter-than-normal mafia hitman story based on the relationship between Jake and Damian that was building over time and the underlying story of who was trying to kill all of the hitmen. Jake was a brat and I did find the relationship between him and Damian hard to understand. It was a pleasant story to read but I did find it missed some of the deeper aspects of feelings and emotions. This is an MM story with mature content.
