My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Malachi is a prince and next in line for the throne, but as his coronation gets closer, strange things keep happening to him. Florian grew up in the palace alongside the prince. The two were always together until it was discovered that Florian had magic. The young witch was torn away from his friend and cast out from the only home he’d known. Despite the turn his life had taken, he has worked hard to build a reputation for helping people. When Malachi realises his problems are magical, he seeks out his childhood friend. As Florian works to undo the charms controlling the prince, that bond they once had comes back even stronger than before.
This was a sweet story of two men who had always loved each other but were separated and then reunited later in life. I loved that Florian was able to be himself and received an apology. Mal and Florian were a force to be wary of and I loved that they were a force for good and positivity. Lots of feelings and emotions in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.
