Tiger shifter Hunter Maverick is having issues finding a mate and the rest of the pride as well as his tiger just want him to find his Neta. Elissa Phoenix is at rock bottom after a blind date has gone wrong she jumps out of his car and decides to walk home - it only took 2 hours to drive there after all. It starts to rain and she is starting to resemble a drowned rat when a strange woman stops her stretch limo and offers Alissa a ride. Elissa decides to trust her gut and gets in - what she doesn't realise is it will be a decision that will change her life forever. Gerri Wilder is on her way to meet the Maverick Pride leader - sometimes fate will help her in her job in ways that will surprise even her. The question is, can Hunter persuade Elissa that shifters exist and convince his pride to give a normal a chance?
This was a good story in the paranormal dating agency series that definitely had the prerequisites of a shifter looking for a mate and a curvy woman in need of a happily ever after. I liked some of the drama and politics that Elissa and Hunter were caught up in and the way it was concluded. Easy to read and understand, there were lots of drama and excitement. Contains sexual content.
