Brock is determined not to ignore the chemistry between them nor the past that they share - as far as he is concerned he needs to clam his mate finally as well as prove that their passion is hotter than before. He just needs to know what her explanation is so he can understand why he has suffered all this pain. It appears that some secrets are not going to stay buried in the past and Cynthia's reluctance may end up being the key to their own destruction. Can they resolve everything and survive all of this?
This was a story which explained a lot of things in the past from both the point of view of the story as well as Trent and Cynthia. There was definitely a case of decisions made without a discussion festering over time and making matters worse as well as a dramatic mysteries that were woven together into a story that we were all taken through as we read this book. It was full of twists and turns as we all had to work through the multiple layers. Well written with lots of thoughts and emotions as we were all able to go on the same journey as the characters in the book. Contains some sexual content.
