Sins of the Shadow Walkers by C.L. Bright by Cassandra Lawson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Juliet is very sceptical of her new Shadow Walker allies especially when it comes to the stories she has been told about her own origins. Filled with doubt and confusion she clings to the only thing she is sure of - she needs to return to the Heathergate Refuge to help Dante and her people who are all inside the protective wards. She knows that seeking help from any spellcasters is risky when she is being hunted by the Verdugo family but she has no choice. Will her new allies help her to reunite with Dante or will they betray her and destroy both her and everyone who she loves?
This was definitely a dramatic end to the trilogy and definitely contained some surprises as well as twists and turns. I loved the way that Juliet has to often think on her feet but thankfully judged risk well enough that it generally worked out. It was clearly written and easy to read and understand. A great ending to the story that I really enjoyed.
