His Human Organizer by Michele Mills
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Aliana has been engaged to the same guy for the last four years and there is still no wedding date in sight - she is so sick of the farce that she tells him she is taking a job off-planet hand hopes he will finally break their stupid arrangement. The job is to be an organising consultant for grumpy Herroken alien Skoll Strikestone who is currently taking military mandated conflict resolution classes while she sorts out his weapons hoard in his family cabin. She soon realises that she appears grump but is actually soft and has abs to die for. However, he is technically engaged to someone else (just like she is) and so they both need to sort out their situations before they can do more than glance at each other. How could she let herself fall for someone she can't have?
I enjoyed this story which seemed to have them both entangled with nasty pieces of work that definitely did not deserve them (nor their money). I loved the stolen looks and touches as well as the central role that two small kittens played in the story. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
