Review: Fallon's Flaw by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Fallon's Flaw (Bullard's Battle Book 6)Fallon's Flaw by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fallon has returned to base in South Africa to follow their only active lead in the hunt for the saboteur who downed Bullard's plane. When he arrives there Linny Dave's niece is there for one of her visits and even though they have both shared good and bad moments they have always danced around the long-term attraction that exists between them. The sticking point has always been that Fallon refuses to take any action as he feels that his relationship with Bullard and the crew is more important to put at risk for a relationship with anyone - even her. Doctor Linny planned to confront Fallon about their relationship stalemate but instead, they find an old beau dead in front of the gates to the compound. She has decided that even though her uncle Dave is everything to her and Bullard is very important as he put her through medical school, she only ever comes back to see Fallon. As her world starts to implode and Fallon is facing a change for the worse they will have to work and trust each other to get to the bottom of everything.

I really enjoyed this story that involved some of the seedier sides of the internet as well as the subject of stalking, It was great to read of the magnetism between them as well as the way that the strong and confident Linny had to take control of their situation and just box Fallon in a place where he just had to make a decision one way or the other. Well written, easy to read and understand it was also easy to feel their thoughts and emotions. The progress of the investigation was important and gave us a little more knowledge as to who was responsible. Contains some explicit sexual content near the end of the story.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
