Vandar warrior Corvak has been exiled to a planet and has agreed to train the men to defend the planet from the Empire. What he didn't count on is female human Sienna who is a great fighter and is not willing to be excluded on the basis of sex. And so determined to succeed she snakes into his home in order to beg him to teach her separately from the men. In a deal, she agrees to help him leave the planet if he teaches her - the question is will she be able to watch him leave without her?

I enjoyed this story which had a determined human female who was not prepared to be discounted just for being female snd \corvak who was determined to resist her and not give in to the intense attraction he had for her. The layers of misinformation and lies were impressive considering that the planet was supposed to be so peaceful but Corvak didn't disappoint with his fierceness as well as his ability to find the attraction of a human female too much to resist. Easy to read and understand, it was very easy to become invested in the story. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Black was holed up in Santa Fe with his wife Miri waiting for another friend recovering from a near-fatal injury and so with time to kill he agrees to take on the case. But nothing is how it seems - especially when the main suspect takes out Black and Miri destroying a building in the process. It sets off a chain of events that could have significance for the entire world, plus an old enemy is waiting to take advantage of the situation and to get his revenge on Miri and Black. Killing them might be his final act before he remakes the world in his own twisted image - only this time he will have the creation#s two most powerful beings at his side.

Wow. I had to sit for some time before my head was clear enough in order to write a review of this book. There were a lot of fast-moving changes that had a really major significance on the world as well as Black and Miri themselves. I loved the multiple layers and the way that they were seamlessly woven into a cohesive story. The local police in San Jose and her knowledge as well as acceptance of certain situations - I really hope she comes to work for Black's company. The changes that happened in this story were unexpected and I certainly didn't see some of them coming. It was nice to see the vampire involvement, as well as Miri's sister Zoe, being central to some of the story - I really hope the relationship between the sisters is repaired in some way. A lot happened. and I'm sure some of this will set the way for the next book in the series. The epilogue via the link at the end was good as well. Well written, easy to read and understand. You need to have read the previous books in the series before this read this book.

Scientist Kennett is used to facts, figures and logic. When a human woman called Zuri appears accusing the Rakian Warriors of unleashing a creature that is devastating her villa he knows it cannot be true but does eventually agree to go and investigate. Zuri has a talent - the one of empathy with animals which means she can sense their feelings. This proves helpful as they both investigate the identity and source of the creature through many dangers. They need to learn to trust each other to defeat an enemy that no one expected. Can they save the village and then part ways after everything they have been through?

I enjoyed this story which introduced another race of aliens to the planet as well as a new mate to one of the warriors. I enjoyed Zuri who was incredibly sassy and at times just argumentative. Kennett certainly had a dramatic time out of his scientific experiments and it was charming to see that he had not lost any of his fierce protection skills as he did whatever he could to save Zuri and the village. Easy to read and understand it contained a little sexual content.

When she saw him leave she was very relieved in her head even though her heart and her wolf were not. But now he is back she is determined to not make it easy for him, but she will listen to everything around her history and try to understand what went on then. Can they sort it all out?

I enjoyed this story which featured a love between a dragon and his mate, a love between a dragon and his brother, and evil which is determined to destroy them all. I enjoyed much of this story which was about Star's history, the evil that was attacking them all, Grey's brother and their mating bond. I did find some of it a little tedious and boring, but it was mostly enjoyable. Easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content near the end of the story.

This was a sweet love story that definitely tugs at the heartstrings as the story develops. I loved the detail around the characters in this story and the way that their interaction changed as their romance was progressing. Throughout it all, Luke was determined to protect those who he loved (which has expanded to include Evie and Matilda) It was full of drama and danger that definitely got under your skin. I became addicted to the story in the end and could feel my reading speed going faster just because I needed to know what happened next. Well written, easy to read and understand and very enjoyable. Contains some explicit sexual content.

I really liked this story which looked at Faith who was very intelligent and had been a prisoner for a long time. It was great to see her using her skills to help persuade as well as solve the problems that were around her. I loved Athtar and the way he had the intention to carry on with his life as it was before Faith but he really had no chance to ignore the pull of his attraction to her. Easy to read and understand, I was addicted to this story and really need to know what happened next. Contains explicit sexual content.
