Review: Hawkeye by Tasha Black 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Hawkeye learnt about humankind from 80s movies and is now there using his new human form trying to find his mate. Softly spoken Trinity loves her friends and her quiet life as an IT specialist for the police academy. So the three aliens who arrived from Stargazer have disrupted her quiet life in a big way. That Hawkeye is determined to excite her sexuality and life is disappointing as she is not looking to become an alien's mate. But there is something about him that leaves her feeling off-balance and it's not just his sexy body. So when something major and very dangerous happens in her world he seems the right person to step up and help as much as he can - even if she is determined to do everything on her own. Can they get to the bottom of what is happening and make sure that the right person is held responsible?
I enjoyed this story which has a great mixture of drama, danger and determination which put them both at the centre of everything that was happening. I enjoyed the way that she was not at all interested in him although she was denying it all to herself. I enjoyed the way that the truth of what was happening came out and the actions that Trinity took in order to get the proof to solve the case. An enjoyable story containing some explicit sexual content.

Review: Holy Hell by Nazri Noor 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
An ancient threat has been awakened - the long-dead paladin Roland wants his holy sword back and has decided that Mason Albrecht is definitely the man to find it. He has decided to go for the extreme method of asking for it - he has raised the dead around the world until Mason returns his sword to him. That means that the Lorica is also on Mason's case and is threatening him with confinement in the high-security Prism. At the same time, Mason's access to the Vestments is severed and so he feels defenceless as he cannot access arms nor amour easily. The demon Prince of Gluttony (Beelzebub) also wants a piece of him and so his blood pressure is going through the roof. Can Mason handle all of these things at the same time or will the perfect storm signal the end of him?
This was definitely an action-packed story as Mason and his allies fought enemies on many fronts at the same time. Through it all Mason also had to learn new skills and use them in the field without any time to practice them. While at times anyone would have wished they were dead he kept on battling at finding new ways to achieve the desired result. Well written and very enjoyable. Easy to read and understand - I definitely felt the thoughts and emotions that he was going through and was thrilled when he finally managed to come out of the various situations intact. Definitely recommended. I'm already starting to wonder what he is going to get up to in the next book of the series.

Review: Kings of Moonlight by Eva Chase 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Now that all in the Seelie realm now know that Talia's blood is what cures the full moon curse that turns them into beasts, the hoped that everything would die down. However, the opposite has actually happened as one arch-lord (Ambrose) has decided to set his sights on her and there is subterfuge, and even betrayal to contend with. Can they all come out of this still together or will Talia turn out to be the Achilles heel of her three lovers?
This was certainly a story full of plots and subplots that Talia and her three men had to navigate. Through it all, I feel they were all able to stick to a course that was true to themselves and it did turn out to have the best of results (for now). Full of drama and danger, it was easy to read and understand.

Review: Melissa by Dale Mayer 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Physiotherapist Shane has been at Hathaway House since it's inception and he has watched many patients progress until they have had a recovery. He has also watch relationship after relationship start there and whilst he is thrilled for each and every one of them he really feels he is ready for his own love even if there was someone out there for him. Then Melissa comes into his gym and everything changes. She is broken and beaten by life and overwhelmed with endless pain. She has finally given into childhood friend Dani and travelled to Hathaway House in order to continue to fight her way to more normal life even if the fight is going to be long and hard. When she meets the though physiotherapist Shane he is determined that his newest client will reach a level of success that she had never imagined. As they work together, Shane and Melissa find a special tenderness behind each other’s strength.
I loved this story which I was thrilled to realise was the happy ever after that I always hoped would eventually come to Shane. I loved the way that he was strong enough to hold back and let her come to her own conclusions about what she wanted their relationship to be going forward and what she actually wanted to happen. The scene during the picnic by the horses was just beautiful and I read it about 3 times because I enjoyed it so much. Well written and a joy to read.

Review: The Spellcaster's Trap by C.L. Bright by Cassandra Lawson 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Shifter Juliette is 17 and destined to become the leader of the Heathergate Refuge when her father is no longer in charge. Living in the refuge she has never had to worry about being hunted by a spellcaster nor being enslaved as a familiar by one of them. However, when someone betrays her everything changes and when she wakes up she is caught in a spellcaster's trap and with her wristband missing she has no way to identify herself if she were able to get back home. Then she meets warlock Dante from the Azuredale hunter family and he becomes a surprising ally. When he finds her, he cannot deny the strange connection that exists between them. Will Dante be able to help Juliet return to the Heathergate Refuge to take her revenge on the traitors who left her for dead or will their unlikely alliance end in tragedy for them both?
I really enjoyed this start to the series which was suitably dramatic and very much a twist on the Romeo and Juliette story. I loved the relationship between Dante and Juliette and the way that they soon started to rely on each other. Dante's siblings were a very interesting and useful addition to the story. The ending of the book was a bit of a cliffhanger and I'm dying to know what happens next. Well written, easy to read and understand.

Review: Bonaparte's Belle by Dale Mayer4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sheriff Angela Zimmerman contacted Levi to ask for help and she was sent gentle mountain man Bonaparte. She realised that it was partly Levi doing a spot of matchmaking but right now her only focus was the problems that she had and trying to find a solution. Angela was pleasantly surprised that the gentle giant was also confident and capable which was exactly what she needed. Something rotten was happening to her town and getting to the bottom of it was impossible when all her deputies had been coerced to quit. Sensing something much bigger was going on is one thing, but proving it is another. So the two set out to get the proof they need—no matter the danger. No one expected what they found.
This was a complex mystery as we experienced through Angela and Bonaparte their processes to unpick the entire situation and find proof whenever and wherever they could. I enjoyed the processes that they went through although it was definitely fortunate that they could have help from Levi and his team in order to look deeper into the people responsible. It was suitably dramatic in places and there were definitely a few faster sections of this book as events moved so quickly. Well written and easy to read and understand.

Review: Baiting a Berserker by Savannah Verte 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Berserker Addian Hevir desperately needs a mate in order to save himself from the beast within as well as his clan. Mer-woman Fynn Barrow is a strong and independent woman who is tired of Mr Wrongs and just wants a partner who will not treat her as a dutiful housewife who needs looking after. Gerri Wilder confidently pairs them together but after just the one meeting they both have grave doubts that she has got it wrong for the first time ever. Can two dominant personalities find the balance to come together before others interfere and send one to their death, and the other back to square one? Or, will it take the imminent threat to drive them where they need to be?
I really enjoyed this story which had two very strong shifters that had to learn how to work together in order to see that they actually did belong together and that they needed to just sort out everything in order to avoid disaster. I loved the way that they came together and the way it all came to a head was great and showed just how strong she really was. I loved the ceremony for merpeople and the effect of that - a great twist on standard shifter mating rituals. Contains explicit sexual content.

FEATURED NEW RELEASE - Blood Beast by Liza Street
Buffy meets True Grit in this supernatural wild west thriller!
Carson drew the short straw, so he gets to cut off the vampire's head tonight.
His beautiful face is screwed up in distaste and he winces at the sick, wet sound of his knife slicing through flesh. The orange and pink sunset behind him makes a pretty picture, so I keep my gaze trained on that while Carson grabs the head by its long brown curls and drops it in the sack I hold open in front of me.
“Glad that's over,” Boone says in a quiet voice next to me.
I twist the top of the sack and wrap a piece of twine around it. Boone and I start toward the horses. When I don't hear Carson behind us, I turn around.
“You all right, Carson?” I ask.
He stands, dusts off his knees from sitting in the dirt.
A smear of blood tracks across his thigh, thick and black, but the blood ain’t his, so I decide not to mention it. He gazes down at the headless corpse, regret spelled across his features plain as the bold heading on a wanted poster.
“I ain’t entirely all right,” he says, transferring his thoughtful gaze to me, “but I reckon I will be eventually.”
I nod and turn back toward the horses. A more nurturing kind of woman might offer to hold Carson’s hand, or give him a hug or something. That ain’t never been my way. Maybe I used to be like that, when my pa was alive, but after years of holding all my emotion close and my trust even closer, I sort of lost any impulses to express myself through things like hugging or hand holding.
Carson and Boone don’t seem to mind, at any rate, and since we started working together earlier in the summer, they haven’t complained. At times, it seems maybe the only thing they can agree on. They come up opposite on nearly every other stance and decision possible.
I reach the horses first and mount Kitty. While I wait for Boone and Carson, I fasten the sack with the head in it to Kitty’s saddle. Then I check that my revolver is fully loaded with charms. If we’re riding at night, I want to be ready for any surprises. This area of the Rift Territory ain’t too populated with fae, as there’s more desert here and the fae prefer water. It’s also too far from the Rift to have too many demons. What it’s rich in, however, is vampires and shapeshifters.
As Boone and Carson reach me, I hear them talking.
“Want to talk about it?” Boone’s saying.
“Nah,” Carson says, “she just looked like someone I knew.”
That happens sometimes—you have to kill a vampire what used to be a friend, or a family member. I shiver in my coat even though it ain’t yet cold. But night falls fast on the high desert plains, and we need to head back to the town of Salvation, turn in this head, and collect our gold. I want off these plains and back into a valley, and I don’t much care that the valley is hot and stays hot at night without any relief. The high desert’s a terrible place to be.Review: Caleb by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Caleb has travelled back to his hometown for his brother's wedding to his own ex-wife and to look for missing K9 and retired war dog Beowulf at the same time. In order to do all of that, he is staying with his childhood best friend Laysha as they are certainly overdue for a reunion. He is not keen on actually going to the wedding considering the history of what happened and so concentrates on finding the dog and solving the mystery as to why it went missing to start with. For Laysha, having Caleb back in her house is like a dream come true although she is definitely aware that he still has issues with his ex-wife. They go together to look at the last known address of Beowulf and instead of any clues around the dog they find a dead body which starts a chain of events that is decidedly dark. It also appears that they were spotted at the house by the bad guys and they are definitely targeted now in a deadly game that Caleb is determined to win as he is not prepared to lose Layla, Beowulf or anyone else important in his life. Can he keep then all alive at the same time as working out what is going on?
I enjoyed this story which had several streams weaving in and out around each other - there was the story of Caleb, his ex-wife and his brother, the story of Caleb and Laysha past and present, and finally the story of Beowulf the K9, where he was and what had happened to him and why. Each stream was nicely woven around each other and generally, I really enjoyed reading the story. Well written and easy to understand this was a good story to read that mean I was hooked and invested in the relationship between Caleb and Laysha and was rooting for them to see what was in front of their faces and what was possible. Does contain a small amount of sexual content near the end of the story.

Review: Fated Treasures by D.T. Strange 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Witch Fianna Arden decides to investigate the source of Gerri Wilder of the Paranormal Dating Agency's mythical powers to match couples successfully. She agrees to go on a mock double date and finds that her dinner with wolf shifter Cameron Bishop ends up being far more than she bargained for. The morning after, it seems that a fated treasure will help both Fianna and Cameron find, not only what they are really looking for, but also what they never expected to find?
This was a sweet story featuring a strong and sassy woman and a strong wolf who found out that sometimes others know what is best for them better than they know themselves. I enjoyed the drama and action behind the treasures story and the want that first one then the other believed they had blown all of their chances. Well written and very enjoyable. Contains explicit sexual content.

Review: Sealed Fate: Paranormal Dating Agency by Godiva Glenn 3 of 5 stars
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Selkie Annika is lonely on Earth and wants to find her mate, the problem is he is human and she knows all the stories saying he'll become obsessed by her, steal her magical selkie skin and make her into a human too. She just doesn't want to spend her life trapped and missing the water. Determined to figure it out, she gets no time when her ex gets in the way and takes matters into his own hands. Then a complicated situation becomes chaotic - what does she do about her almost drowned boyfriend, her almost murderer ex, and an amazing best friend who has always wanted her. One reckless decision leads to wave after wave of issues. Deep down, she knows what she wants. But is it in her fate to have it?
This is a complicated story that contains a large amount about torn emotions, hard choices and true love. I enjoyed some of the elements but it was boring in places too. I was surprised by how the story ended but at least Annika was happy and I think everyone else was too. This is a reverse harem story and so please don't read this and then be shocked when it becomes like that at the end. Reasonably well written if a little long in places. Contains sexual content.

Review: Ex-Con Times Two by Jay S. Wilder 3 of 5 stars
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ex-cons Hunter and Jake are supposed to be keeping their noses clean, but all of that changes when Hunter meets good girl Katelynn. She is sweet, shy and in their minds way too young but they desperately want to live out their fantasy on her innocent virgin body - yes Jake and Hunter like to share the same woman. She is their Kitten and after claiming her for themselves they are determined to stop the person who wants to harm her. To hell with parole violations, they’ll break every rule to keep her alive.
There is a story of why Katelynn is in danger and what they do to keep her safe, but there is a lot around their relationship and all the things they end up doing together in the bedroom. An enjoyable light read containing MFM explicit sexual content.

Review: Playing with Fire: Paranormal Dating Agency by Godiva Glenn 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Bear shifter Chell is the leader of the Blue Mountain clan and she is not the sort of person to back down even after being kidnapped and her leadership stolen in a coup. It took time, but now she is on top and in charge where she rightfully belongs. Now she needs to find herself a mate. Two scorching hot human firefighters capture her attention after talking to the PDAs Gerri Wilder but she wasn't looking for a human - her clan could really benefit far more if they had the addition of the power of a shifter. A previous love from the past then emerges and threatens the balance of her potential trio - then they discover that there is more treachery about to surface. Can she put out the fires and kick ass in order to get her HEA?
This was a sweet reverse harem PDA story that had plenty of danger, drama and action along the way. I liked all the surprises and the way that the characters handled it as well as all the emotional stuff when it became apparent that the two firefighters were going to have to make a major change in their lives to be with Chell. Contains explicit sexual content.

Review: A Royal Pain: Paranormal Dating Agency by Godiva Glenn 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Alethea Spiros is the crown princess of Lutheyis Island and is so past it all - she is constantly told to change herself plus she cannot find a man who is worthy of both her love and her father's approval. Blair is a rarity - a male wood dryad on Prism and not many are needed as one single male can pollinate an acre of the females. He is convinced that he would prefer to have true love and a single woman to hold even though that is not available on Prism. With the help of friends, he is given the very rare opportunity of freedom - but he can never return to Prism so this really is a total solution. So he reached out to the legendary matchmaker Gerri Wilder for some help. Blair is strange, very sexy and amazingly sweet but that is not doing to cut it for the King - so they somehow need to go past years of rules and obligations while Blair is determined to prove to Alethea that she is not dysfunctional and that being royal can be bearable.
I really enjoyed this story which has a good mixture of sweet and sensitive plus romance, while there was also being a healthy dose of pure sexual attraction. I enjoyed al the romancing and how Blair was trying to get an understanding of everything on Earth as he was also trying to spend time with Alethea. I enjoyed all of the romantic time they spent together as often the PDA stories avoid very much of that. Contains some sexual content.

Review: Reign of Shadows: A Slow Burn Paranormal Witch Romance by Veronica Shade by Leigh Anderson, by Rebecca Hamilton 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Witch Madison and her group of friends are about to face the true source of Camille's power - a dark god called Marduk who intends to become the most powerful deity ever. Their hope to stop it all was their goddess Hectate but after a year of being captive by Marduk, she is very weak and only just alive. So Madison needs to conspire with Vampire's and locate a sacred plant in a last-ditch effort in order to bring Hectate back to consciousness. As she passes each obstacle one shattering truth becomes clear - in order to kill an immortal Madison will need some help from the other side of the veil. Time is running out, and the entire supernatural world is on the brink of destruction. To save the Soule family once and for all, Madison must come to terms with the past, battle through Hell itself, and make the ultimate sacrifice: her own soul.
OMG - this was an explosive finish to the series which took us on a rollercoaster through Hell, New Orleans and even the sewers as Madison did whatever she had to do to rid the supernatural world of the ultimate evil. Her friends were her rock throughout it all but they all went through some analysis of their relationship with each other. I loved the way Madison did everything she could to avoid killing but at the end did what was needed for the greater good even if she had to pay a huge personal cost. There were times when I was heartbroken but everything seemed to work out, even if I would have preferred a slightly different result. Well written and easy to read and understand.

Review: Royally Screwed by Godiva Glenn 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Brook Donovan has set high standards for the person she will settle with and so far no one has come near to those impossible goals. Meeting Gerri Wilder by chance leads her to a new role - Earth’s liaison for a fae duke. Duke Kerren Aodhán of Weylan Barrows wants to escape the fae world of Prism as his life is just predictable and boring. What he didn't appreciate is that the fae rules apply, even across the portal into Earth and suddenly consequences that neither Kerren and Brook could see have caught them in the crossfire. They are both Royally Screwed. Will this all work out so they can live the lives that they wanted?
I liked this story which helped us to understand a little of the hierarchy of the fae world and how the machine can sometimes get a little out of hand. I did, however, love the ending and how it all worked out in the end (which certainly was not what either of them expected). Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Review: Purrfectly Bound by C.D. Gorri 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tiger shifter Lance Jacosa is currently a guard around the pride and is single. When he was younger he was more than happy to work his way through the females at Maverick Point and has now lost his interest in these women and so hopes that a visit from Gerri Wilder can help him. Gerri brought her neighbour Annalia Reese with her on the visit - the question is, can Annalia take on a guy with a tiger sized need for her and get the HEA she deserves?
This was a sweet story that had a lot of danger, drama and excitement as Lance and Annalia met and developed a relationship at the speed of sound. Obviously, Lance forgot to think with his head and made a few significant mistakes, but thankfully they were able to resolve everything amicably. Well written and enjoyable to read. Review: Radoo by Celia Kyle 3 of 5 stars
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
When the Preor came to Earth they had open arms and hoped to find their mates. However, many met them with a closed fist and hatred. Livvy certainly holds no love for the Preor race - their claims of coming in peace or working together for the good of both races don't ring true to her either. But when she is told that she is fated for a Preor Warrior, she knows in her heart that it is true. Radoo did not experience a choosing in the standard sense especially as he currently does most of the command duties of the Preor Third Fleet and believes he has no time for a mate. His world is rocked when he comes into contact with Livvy and is affected by the Knowing. But to find out that she hates him and everything he stands for, plus she is a member of the Resistance that will stop at nothing to rid the Earth of the Preor. How can Radoo change things when his mate is his enemy - can they ever be other or are they faced with a painful death?
This was certainly an interesting spin on the fated mate story and had many instances of danger and drama involving the resistance members. I liked the way that the story ended although I did not enjoy some of the content in between - I think I just grew a little tired of Livvy and some of her attitudes even though I could clearly understand the resentments and how they occurred. Some parts were enjoyable and well written, and some parts were just irritating and monotonous. Contains some sexual content.

Review: Jason by Erin Havoc 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Megan is a curvy woman who knows what she does and doesn't want. She wants to date a shifter but not an alpha after corresponding with one who was possessive and very pushy. So when the app says she has a match but it is an alpha wolf she blocks him on the spot! Wolf shifter Jason has looked for his mate for years and just when the dating app says he has one, she blocks him! Undaunted he decides to just set out and find her based on scent alone. He is determined that he must take this one chance and make the woman of his dreams his.
I liked this story which had plenty of drama and excitement in it. I loved that Jason was determined to find her, treat her right and protect her no matter what happened. I loved the way he protected her with everything that he had which must have been dangerous at times. I did find it a little disconcerting the speed that she agreed that he was her mate and that they belonged together. I loved the sections at the end that showed how their life together had worked out for them which was very sweet.

Review: Dorian by Erin Havoc 3 of 5 stars
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Bella can just about handle that shifters are real, and so she uses a new dating app which also houses DNA in order to match mates. In her case, it is telling her that she has a match and it is with a Bear shifter - a large part of her worries that it is a scam so she is being ultra-cautious in order to make sure this really is real. Bear shifter Dorian has been waiting for years to find his mate and so is very impatient now. So when he is notified by the app that his mate is out there, he is determined to find her no matter what it takes. Can they find and believe that each other is real and the feelings are also real?
His was a nice short story which was a little disjointed in a few place and so a little had to believe sometimes but was overall a nice shifter story with a fated mate at the end. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Ash felt like she'd been wrapped in a warm blanket and fed every aphrodisiac on the planet. That was the only explanation she could come up with for the zings zipping through her body.
“Mine.” His voice was a low deep growl that sent all kinds of naughty thoughts spinning through her mind. “She’s the one.”
Her chest went itchy with warmth as her body lit on fire in a combination of embarrassment and sexual alertness. That needed to stop right now. She didn't know what the hell was wrong with her, besides not having a sexy-times relationship, but she would not allow herself to fantasize over a coworker. How completely inappropriate.
Even if he was ultra-hot. Like a superhero power – Super Duper Hot Man.
Geez. Stop.
“Sorry guys, I think you've got the wrong department.” She tried to yank her arm away. “I’m working on a containment field for the non-photonic beings. I don't do weapons. So, let go.”
Instead of releasing her, the one who had her arm, ripped off his sunglasses, hugged her to him and kissed her.
He kissed her.
In her lab.
Right in front of the other guy.
In the middle of a dragon terrorist attack.

Review: Tangled by Aidy Award 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Dragon shifter Ace and the Black Dragon Brotherhood need some form of help to fight the shadow warriors who are stealing souls and turning them into an army of destruction. He can't use his own powers over them and so needs to find a new weapon as there are limits to the combined powers of Dragon Neo and his mate witch Kady. They find out there is a scientist working for the Cult of the Dead and so he decides to kidnap Ash and coerce her into working for the brotherhood. When he finds her it becomes clear that the curvy woman is a witch with very erratic powers and also (or more importantly) his mate. However, she is a unique combination of his most deadly enemy and the love of his life. When the shadow army attacks them, he may have to sacrifice his own dark soul to save hers… and the entire Black Dragon Brotherhood.
Wow - this was definitely a dramatic story with lots of parallel stories as we had Ash in several involving her powers, her family, her choice as to who to believe, her attraction to Ace and her choices. Then you had the stories around the Brotherhood and the Owls. It was all woven together into a complex yet very enjoyable story. I admit to feeling a little frustrated with Ash at times but I also understood how much new information she had to understand in a short space of time as well as the environment that she grew up in. Well written and easy to read and understand. Now I wonder what is going to happen next and can't wait to find out! Contains some explicit sexual content.

Review: My Oath to You: Paranormal Dating Agency by Cassidy K. O'Connor 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The shifter and Private Investigator Aeslyn Walker (her business partner is best friend Ash) takes a phone call from Gerri Wilder asking for their help to protect a friend's grandson. Sebastian Rutledge was a Medic in the Air Force for many years but when he lost a patient that he found he couldn't recover from he is now back home and concentrating on some more important things in his life. However, when he meets Aeslyn looking for her missing cat they have an instant attraction and feels he needs to keep her around. Secrets, danger and heartache can love be here too?
I really enjoyed this story which had a lot of drama and danger. It was a nice variation to the standard PDA story structure. I enjoyed the way they were together and that Seb felt that they should be together even though he was not a shifter. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.

FEATURED SALE READ: Vampire's Mate (Guardians Book 1) by Valerie Twombly
Literally. Cassie has been dreaming of Marcus for weeks, and now he's feet away. How was this possible?
Review: Tamed by Aidy Award 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Dragon shifter Neo is injured and so can't get back to the Black Dragon Brotherhood's headquarters in Rogue to lead them and let them know about the newest threat to them in the form of shadow warriors from Hell. His best bet is Kady - a curvy fire witch who has no idea how to use her own powers but she does make the tainted human lawmen run around with her own tricks. But when the shadow demons and the human lawmen come after them at the same time he is going to have to choose between his fated mate who can save his soul or saving the world - can he make the choice?
I loved this story which featured a hot dragon shifter who was not above reading in order to work out how to please a woman and a comical curvy woman who knows her own mind. Neo made me swoon and Kady just made me constantly laugh with her links to movie stuff. I loved the detail of the way he was able to help her to learn to use her magic and the mays they were able to charge themselves up for more power. Well written, easy to read, feel and understand. When I finished this one I just needed to move on to the next book as I had to know what happens next. Contains explicit sexual content.

Review: Third Time's a Ghost: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Gage Dawson is a Paranormal investigator and IT genius but is dreadful at dating and seems to firmly end up in the friend zone time after time. Usually, a date stops at the first dinner but when his first love and childhood best friend comes back into his life, he is determined to not make any mistakes this time. Erica Miller has the skills to be a psychic medium but they are not well developed and she hides them from others. She is currently struggling to make a hunted community theatre a success and never had any problems but blackouts, confusion and headaches are plaguing the rehearsals and she needs the help of a paranormal investigator to find the culprit. She hasn't seen Gage since high school and the best friend and nerdy boy-next-door is now a mouth-watering specimen of a man. Can friends become lovers or will the spirits drive them apart?
I enjoyed this story although it was a bit annoying at times with all of Erica's doubts added into her total belief in the ghost she had known for the longest. I did enjoy the way they made mistakes in their relationship in the past as well as today plus the way they had to get over them just like we all do in real life. I enjoyed the section at the end which nicely finished up the three books in this series and gave them all the kind of future life that we all wanted them to have. Well written, easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.

Review: Vende by Celia Kyle by Anne Hale 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Dawn had suffered a traumatic brain injury in childhood and so had led a sheltered life with her family. She had a passion for botany but she had never had the chance to pursue any of her dreams in life. That all changes when she meets the Prior and they need the kind of help that only she can provide. Prior Warrior Vende is completely weary of overseeing the engineering infrastructure for everyone while his fellow warriors spend time with their mates - especially after his lack of success finding his own. Then he meets Dawn and finally understands the full power of the Knowing. Can Vende and Dawn face insurmountable odds and find a happily ever after plus save the Prior race from extinction?
This was a sweet story where there were lots of interesting new side effects to the Knowing that was very welcome. I love Dawn and how she was so carefree and trusting although I was quite afraid for her when she went walkabout. I loved her unique talent which I would love for people to have today. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains a little explicit sexual content near the very end of the story which was very sensitively written.

Review: Argan by Erin Tate by Celia Kyle 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Liquid Knot is a hacker extraordinaire and friend of the Prior, so when Prior Warrior Argan felt that she needed to be defended, he had no qualms in doing just that. However, in the aftermath he has been jailed and sentenced to death as the Preaor leader he defended her against is determined to follow the letter of the law. Liquid Knot (Lily King) is trying to think of any way in which she can prevent his death and finds that there is just one solution that leaves him with his honour intact - she will have to claim the sun-coloured, sexy, and delicious winged male as her mate. Argan sen Izz’bara would never regret defending her but he deeply regrets the fact that she has tied herself to him in mating to him in name only. But it starts to become clear that there is more than friendship between them as they start to feel attraction and passion too. While they did not experience the Knowing the first time they met, he starts to wonder if they could actually be mates. However, before any answers can be found someone is displeased that Argan did not die and is determined that both Argan and Lily will die. Will they survive and find the answer to the mate question?
I loved this story which has some great underlying stories behind the story of the initial death sentence, mating and them spending time together. It was certainly a whodunnit when it became clear that someone was trying to kill them. I loved the way that Argan was trying his best to protect her while she was also trying to do her best to protect them both as well as everyone that could be affected. Some very interesting concepts that would be fascinating to see if they come true at some point in the future. I loved the relationship between them and the way that it developed. Definitely the best story in this series so far. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Review: Second Chance Spirit: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Successful big-city lawyer Trent Austin does not have time for the run-down Victorian house he just inherited in the suburbs from a crazy uncle. Determined to get rid of it as soon as he can, he contacts the best real estate agent in Michigan Tina Sanders even though she dumped him three months ago fearing commitment. However, as soon as she sees him again the flames of attraction between them rekindle again and against her better judgement she accepts the job. It soon becomes clear that she has a connection to the house that is far deeper than the sexy lawyer who currently owns it. They then realise that something in the house wants Trent to be dead and instead of just battling to win her affections he is also battling to stay alive and get the HEA that they both want with each other. Who is going to win this struggle?
I enjoyed this story which had the two entertained and yet also parallel stories of the house and what was happening in there that was trying to kill Trent as well as the battle for Trent and Tina to accept the feelings that they were experiencing, what was real and the kind of future that was possible for them both to have together if they could get past the threat to his life. I liked all the drama and analysis of emotions that was happening for them both as well as the need for them to trust each other. There was plenty of drama as well as some sexual content. I really enjoyed the ending at the way that everything was eventually wrapped up.

Review: White Stripes (Whitetide Streak #3) by Marie Long 4 of 5 stars
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tiger shifter Axel Reed lost everything - his home, his family and even worse his honour. When he discovered he could produce an heir he needed to somehow find a mate - so he contacted Gerri Wilder at the Paranormal Dating Agency where he viewed the result as unsatisfactory. But when he saw beautiful and plus-sized yoga instructor Godiva Mitchell. Godiva had had many rejections in the past and so had given up on love, but after Axel walked into her studio she feels hope that things are about to change. Entering into a relationship with any tiger from the Whitetide Streak usually has a consequence and for Axel, that is a war with another shifter pack. As Godiva gets closer to Axel her world is also starting to crumble. Will she be strong enough to stand with Axel in this final battle?
This was definitely a story with lots of danger and drama. I liked the way that even with all of the bad news Godiva was strong enough to think outside of the box and come up with excellent solutions that basically saved them both. I loved the relationship between them both and the way that it grew. Lots of shifter action in this story. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Review: Reign: A Romance Anthology by Nina Levine by K.E. Osborn 5 of 5 stars
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The Unwanted Crown by KE Osborn - 5*
Savannah Del Rey had finally gone home after staying in Houston at the Defiance MC clubhouse with best friend Jovie in order to see her ailing mother. She immediately gets into an argument with her father when he explains that he has arranged a marriage for her. Beyond angry, she has to make a decision between her old flame King who has appeared or Hunter the man she is supposed to now marry. Can she work out what to do and who to choose deserving of her love?
I loved this story which involved some of the characters from the Houston Defiance MC as well as some new characters. Sav had a lot on her plate to decide - especially after she had some fairly major surprises. I loved the way it ended and I can't wait to read more about what happens next. Well written, easy to read, feel and understand. Contains some sexual content.
