Tyehn is a green and muscled Valorni warrior who is true to type and is very steady and dependable. So when he is matched with a risk-taking and impulsive human scientist he is shocked to discover that his self-control has gone out of the window. Human Maki loves adventure and taking risks. So when she is chased by a new form of hybrid through a frozen jungle it might have pushed things just a little too far. However, the big and sexy warrior is making her heart race in a completely new way which she likes far too much. So when a dark secret from her past might hold a key to a new fight, can she trust him enough to let go?
I enjoyed this story with the new information about the threat to the planet (and the puppet master) as well as the skills used trying to evade the new hybrids. The doubts experienced by Tyehn after the new information made him really quite human. An enjoyable read which was easy to understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
