Review: Seduced by the Sea Lord by Starla Night 2 of 5 stars

Seduced by the Sea Lord (Lords of Atlantis, #1)

Seduced by the Sea Lord by Starla Night
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Torun is a determined mer shifter who has gone against tradition and most of his people to come and find his soul mate in the human population. Lucy is a divorcee who is just trying to make some kind of existence while proving that sea opals exist and that she can find another one. She saves Torun from the depths and he declares that she is his soul mate. Can she accept what he is saying and can they both survive the prejudices of his people and the greed of hers?

I tried really hard to like this story but I just couldn't. I found Lucy to be very confused but also without personality and Torun was a bit too two-dimensional. I did understand it but no one explained exactly how the sea opals could be used by a cosmetic company and so I was just confused by it all. Contains some sexual content.
