Foster is a successful entrepreneur who’s made a good life for himself. He's had a few intimate relationships, but none have lasted. Probably because he hasn't been able to be his authentic self. In his heart, he's a pup. He wants to curl into a wonderful Daddy‘s lap and be petted, stroked, and praised. He longs for piles with other puppies where we play and he can make friends. But who’s going to accept a forty-five-year-old man into that puppy pile? Arnav met Foster on Halloween, and he wanted him because he was good-looking and hot, despite being twenty years his senior. Now, when he spots him across a BDSM playroom, he's struck by his forlorn look. Arnav hasn't seen him there on puppy-play night before, but he's not surprised when he tells him he wants to be a pup. Arnav was born to be a Daddy. For Foster, he's ready to dive into the world of sweet pups and handlers and see if he has what it takes to make Foster’s Christmas wish come true.
This was a sweet story of an older pup and a younger Daddy who rose up over their problems in life to build a relationship together. I loved how supportive Arnav was with Foster although I did think that he kept his own secrets for too long. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic including puppy play.
