This Christmas, Casey only had two goals: to get his kitchen renovated and to find a hot older guy to keep him warm at night. He never thought he'd find both in the small town of Jade River, where people take the holiday season very seriously (and always with beer or mulled wine). He ended up in the arms of exactly the man he wanted, and we shared a scorching night under his Christmas tree that he'll never forget. Then reality hit. His son is Casey's best friend, and what we did should have been forbidden. Now their lives are more intertwined than either of them ever bargained for. But on these cold winter nights, he's starting to think he's addicted to him.
This was an ok novella but I did think that some aspects of the story moved a bit fast and that needed more analysis, for example, Rome's son's easy acceptance of the relationship between Casey and Rome. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
