Ryder Clark was a wild child. The day he turned twenty-two, he got in his car, pointed it west, and never looked back. Life was clubbing, booze, and the mornings after. Swept up in events set in motion decades ago, Ryder can’t run from his past this time - not when his past flies across the country to visit him. Yet even his problems are mundane compared to those of his new boss. James is intelligent, handsome, and a vampire. He’s also magnetic, and Ryder can’t resist the pull. Apparently neither can the person who keeps trying to kill them. One way or another, today is the day Ryder grows up.
This was a sweet story which became tedious with both of their problems giving reasons to not commit to each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
