I loved this story that delivered an intense blend of emotion and danger, driven by the powerful connection between Cole and Eli. From the moment their lives collide, there’s a sense that they’ve been tied together long before they ever met — a bond that feels fated, haunting, and impossible to ignore. Their chemistry is electric, but it’s the emotional pull between them that truly stands out, especially as long‑buried truths begin to surface. The danger surrounding them raises the stakes at every turn. Cole’s dark, ancient past and Eli’s chaotic present close in from both sides, creating a constant tension that kept you rooting for them to survive — not just the external threats, but the secrets that could destroy their fragile, growing trust. This was a gripping, atmospheric romance where love became both their greatest vulnerability and their strongest weapon. I enjoyed that all the loose ends in the series were resolved too. This was an MM story with mature content.
