Review: Wolf Beneath the Wreath by Aria Grace 3 of 5 stars

Wolf Beneath the Wreath

Wolf Beneath the Wreath by Aria Grace
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Davey escapes to a remote lodge for a quiet Christmas, only to find his room double‑booked with Michael, a towering, irresistible alpha. A snowstorm forces them to share the cabin, and once they’re inside, the chemistry between them becomes impossible to ignore. What starts as an inconvenience quickly turns into a heated, fated connection that might be exactly the miracle they both needed.

I enjoyed this novella that leans hard into fate, and I loved the little coincidences that kept pushing Davey and Michael together until it was impossible to deny they were meant to collide. Davey’s easy acceptance of Michael being a wolf shifter added a lovely warmth to their connection — it felt natural, not dramatic, which suited the story’s cosy holiday vibe. That said, the instalove is definitely strong, and with the shorter length there isn’t much room for deeper character development. Still, their chemistry is sweet, the setup is fun, and the fated‑mates magic delivers exactly the kind of festive escapism I wanted. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
