After Galen comes over from Africa to join Johan at Levi and Ice's compound in the US where they are sent on a job. Joy was looking for a career position but to pay the bills she took a job in order to pay the rent looking after the inventory in a company. But when it shows missing drugs on the inventory
and no one in the company is willing to do anything about it she turns to her old friend Kai for advice. Johan might no be the answer she was expecting but when she finds out that the previous employee to hold the same position as her is in the morgue, she is very happy to have him. After all her job might seem safe but her life it appears is not - can Johan keep Joy alive and get to the bottom of what is happening in that company?
This was an enjoyable story that was wrapped into a mystery story (which kept you guessing right until the end of the book as to who was really stealing the drugs. Full of surprises and quite addictive in places, this was a well-written book that was easy to understand.
