Review: Psychic Visions Box Set 4-6 by Dale Mayer 5 of 5 stars

Psychic Visions Box Set 4-6 (Psychic Visions)Psychic Visions Box Set 4-6 by Dale Mayer

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A great value collection of books - definitely recommended

#4 - Garden of Sorrows - 5*

After the loss of her sister a year ago, Alexis Gordon goes to work and reality disappears for her after Detective Kevin Sutherland (who has some psychic abilities) sees a gift in Alexis he asks his friend Stefan Kronos (a psychic, artist and law enforcement consultant) to help her develop her skills. However, Kevin has never seen a killer with a personal vendetta to stop Alexis from finding out more about him and his long-dead victims. Can they stop the killer and make sure he is really gone?

I loved this story which was full of drama, intrigue, excitement and also the lovely way that a relationship developed between Kevin and Alexis. Well written and very enjoyable, this was a mystery novel which contained physic skills too.

#5 - Knock, knock - 4*

Shay Lassiter is wealthy and beautiful and spends her time running an organisation called the Lassiter Foundation, but all that meant nothing when her fiance tried to murder her. Now she is far more cautious and uses her knack for reading people to save herself heartache. However, when people connected to the foundation start dying in slightly unexpected or mysterious ways she needs to depend on help from the new man in her life. Computer specialist and ex-cop, Roman Chandler has s secret that could ruin his relationship with Shay. Can he get her to trust him and learn more about him while saving Shay when the killer sets their sights on her?

This was definitely a clever psychic mystery wrapped up into a romance between Shay and Roman. There were parts of this story that I found long-winded and monotonous, and there were parts that I really enjoyed (hence the rating). It was well written and very enjoyable to read. The way that Roman rescues Shay at the end was very clever.

#6 - Rare Find - 5*

Tabitha buries herself and her aching heart into her work with the animals at Exotic Landscapes. That works fine until she gets yanked out of her world to help someone in desperate need- problem id she gets a lot more than she bargained for. Detective Ronin Chandler understands secrets as he has some of his own, but when the woman he loves gets into trouble, it stretches his belief system and he struggles to understand how he can help before he loses her. The problem is working out who can be trusted and doing that before it is too late.

I loved this story which had a great mixture of psychic discovery, a murder mystery, a kidnapping and a love story all rolled into one. I loved the way that the various characters communicated with each other and the way that Ronin struggled but still managed to pull himself together and make progress in his own knowledge and psychic skills. Well written and very enjoyable, I couldn't put it down until I had finished it and worked out what was going on.
