Gargoyle shifter Lucan was cursed (along with his brothers by a vindictive witch to stay in stone, but when they are finally free he is determined to make up for lost time by following up on his attraction to the mysterious blonde who has entered the club where he works. However, Elise has searched for Lucas and is determined not to be distracted by her attraction to him as she needs to tell him about his daughter. Even worse - he conceived the child with the witch who cursed him who just happens to be Elise's sister. However, when his daughter (and her niece) needs help it might prove impossible to resist each other any more. Can they saver her in time?
This was a great story about an unexpected child, an attraction that cannot be denied, and a fundamental change to life that will prove to be impossible to ignore. This was full of love, joy and adjustment as they all struggled to accept and adapt to a new way of thinking and of living. There was lots of drama, danger and in places joy as they worked their way through all of the obstacles that were in the way of a happy life for them all. Well written, it was easy to understand and very enjoyable to read.
