Elle returns to Texas to defend someone and meets Dragon/Wolf shifter Gage MacAllen. At the moment they meet it becomes apparent they are mates. They then get embroiled in a battle to defeat a combination of evil old magic which is using some very old white magic as a power source. It is all tied into an ancient Indian prophesy and Elle and Gage will have to work together if they want to defeat the evil source which desperate to kill Elle and have her magical power. Suitable sparks fly as they battle together - will they manage to win?
This was a sweet story that was enjoyable if you ignored sections of the prophecy and tedious repeating of phrases as they worked it out. I enjoyed some parts of this story but I also found some incredibly irritating. So accept that you might not enjoy ALL of this book even though overall it is a great story.
