Review: Loki A Paranormal Romance with Norse Gods, Tricksters, and Fated Mates (Gods on Earth Book 2) by J.C. Andrijeski 5 of 5 stars

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loki was feeling pleased with himself - he had stolen a magical ring called Andvaranaut from under the noses of Thor and Odin plus his own son Jörmungandr. But walking through a market in Nepal, a woman stole it from him in a very fleeting instant. Hot on her trail he is determined to get his ring back even if he has to punish her in ways that they might both enjoy. As he starts to learn more about Lia Winchester he realises that she is a professional thief, proficient liar, escape artist and very very sexy. Maybe they can partner on a heist of their own in the future?

Wow - this book was smoking hot from the start to the finish. Loki was completely mesmerised by Lia firstly with anger that she had stolen from him and then with lust and a fascination into what was a strong and very clever woman. I loved the way that Loki had a sense of honour and there were definite lines that he was not prepared to cross (let alone allow others to cross either). I loved the way that it appeared that he had crossed Lia near the end, but then she was able to work out that he actually hadn't and what he had really done (very clever). Well written and easy to read I was addicted to this story and definitely read into the early hours of the morning because I just could not put it down. Contains explicit sexual content.
