Frost by Michelle M. Pillow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Alien Edur (aka Frost Chaos) just wants to get away from the ice tundra of his home planet and go to Earth and find a mate even if it is with a mail-order bride company he really should have checked out before he had signed up with them. Meg Taylor is a journalist and is currently away from the city caring for her father, and so when she realises there is a potential story after hearing about a blue hockey player in her town she feels compelled to follow it up so she can publish it. When she follows Frost home she will get much more of a story than she ever imagined. She will encounter dangerous mercenaries, spaceships and a sexy blue alien who is looking for far more than a one night stand. Will this all end up with everyone safe or will it end in disaster?
This was a very enjoyable story that looked in a bit more detail at the complications of the aliens being on Earth looking for mates as well as the forces who were determined to stop them. I loved the way that Meg chose a side in the battle and how she handled it. Well written and easy to read. Contains explicit sexual content.
